I’ve seen outbound act like a bullhorn at a crowded convention — it gets attention fast, but it can also grate if done poorly. The good side is measurable immediacy: you can blast a new product to a huge audience, seed awareness quickly, and see short-term spikes in traffic or sales. The downside is cost, potential annoyance, and weaker long-term trust compared with organic methods. Metrics you’ll hear tossed around are things like CPM, CPC, click-through and conversion rates, and ultimately CAC (customer acquisition cost) and ROI.
