The short walk to the living room felt like an eternity. As I pushed open the door, a sight of unimaginable beauty greeted me. The room was awash with the vibrant hues of roses. Bouquets upon bouquets of them were scattered everywhere, their velvety petals in shades of red, pink, and white. The sweet, intoxicating fragrance of the roses filled the air, enveloping the room in a warm embrace. The roses were arranged meticulously, their stems trimmed to perfection, their leaves glossy and green. Each bouquet was wrapped in delicate tissue, tied with a satin ribbon. The room was so densely packed with these bouquets that there was barely any space to walk.

If there's anything I know about our world, it's that the need to relive your victory is far too great that sometimes the majority toss away common sense just to have the opportunity to gloat. I hope this would be no different. I hope I would be knuckles deep in some bastard's stomach by this time tomorrow. The attendant shakes his head, his entire face covered in sweat as he looks at me and looks away repeatedly. Fucking pussy. Yet, I don't blame him. It isn't everyday one could see a member or even two of The Black Rose without dying afterwards. But then again, it isn't every time one sees a member of The Black Rose in a fucking freezer.

Blood roses. Rafael’s hand tightened around the fragile flower, crushing it slowly between his fingers. A symbol. A secret. Not grief. Not loss. Love. Defiance. War. His lips curled into a dangerous smile. "So," he said softly, almost lovingly. "The game has only just begun." He tossed the crushed rose onto the floor, grinding it under his boot. "Bring me Matteo," Rafael ordered, his voice sharp as a whip. "And this time... bring the girl too."

I turned the object around and realized that it was a bouquet of roses lying beside me. The roses were bright red and dusted with gold glitter. There were 33 blooms in the bouquet. Nicholas fastened his seatbelt nonchalantly and spoke while looking straight ahead. "A gift for you."

Chapter 84: Stella and Theodore The auntie tilted her head and shook her head, “I’m afraid we don’t have what you are looking for, young man. Roses came from the south while the flowers I sell all came from the local area. Transport is more expensive than the flower itself.” “I see.” “You must be a foreigner, right?” Oliver nodded his head. Of course I wanted his number then I replied, "What is your name?" I sat my phone down so I could dry off and get dressed. Then like clock work another ping from I*******m. He asked, "What is your name beautiful?" I began to blush then replied. "My name is Elisabeth Rose Freeman ,but everyone calls me Beth", I messaged back. He then replied, "Vladius Lee Sinclair, nice to meet you Beth". I then in return sent my number to him. I finished getting ready for the day. I was planning on cleaning up my dorm room.

Its a pity he's out of town. I hope she cooperates because if she doesn't, I will have to use other means which may not be favourable for a fragile little thing like her. ROSELLE'S POV Six cameras. I nodded my head again feeling a twinge of pity in my heart, she sounded kind of frustrated and seemed to really need the scholarship, it's a good thing that there are ten available slots for applicants though, because I still wanted to win badly. She was still staring at me, obviously expecting me to say something “Sorry about that” I eventually opted for “I hope we both get two of those slots” and as an afterthought added “I'm Leila Adams” She laughed quietly “Yeah, I hope so too” “I like you” she added “You're quiet straightforward, you say what's on your mind the way you think it, it's nice”

I smiled. Rose had mud covering her clothes, with splashes of water on her top as well. "You should change your clothes, otherwise you will catch a cold." She nodded with a sheepish smile, "I went to collect water from the river but slipped over the rock and fell." I paused but continued stirring again...the river. "Can you add the final petals and stir this? I have some work to do." Rose looked at me in shock and to my surprise, she shook her head in a no immediately, "I can't do that, you shall always complete your work other..."
