Moonbound

Moonbound

Silas said pleasantly. “Then bring receipts,” Rooke’s matriarch said behind him, and Silas smiled because he appreciated competence even when it targeted him. At home, the foyer had received a parcel: a crate, salt-stained, with Ashmere’s opinionated rope. Inside: a dozen small hinges accompanied by a note scratched by a hand that had learned to live in wind—for windows that forgot themselves—and a second sheet in Maera’s older script: Lighthouse maintenance log: ratchet replaced; light demoted to work.

EVERY BRIDE NEEDS SOMETHING "BLUE"

EVERY BRIDE NEEDS SOMETHING "BLUE"

“Oh . . . wow.” Hannah let the car roll to a stop along the Cove road as she stared down the short stretch of Pelican Bay shoreline, then out to the Point, where the McCraes’ lighthouse stood, a proud old sentry, historic and beloved. The sun was just rising above the horizon line behind it, casting it in a pinkish-golden halo of light.

The Lighthouse at Black Hollow

The Lighthouse at Black Hollow

The old lighthouse had been dark for years. Perched on the jagged edge of Widow’s Point, the Black Hollow Lighthouse had been abandoned since the night Keeper Alden Rowe vanished without a trace. No one had taken the position after that. Some said he’d fallen. Others whispered the sea had claimed him for a debt long unpaid. Mara didn’t believe in sea-debts. But she knew what she saw. Three flashes. Evenly spaced. Deliberate. The pattern repeated. Her little brother, Toby, burst into her room. “Did you see it?”

This Time, I Will Not Love You

This Time, I Will Not Love You

It is dark before so I didn’t notice such detail… We were suppose to enter this area but then things happened… he was suppose to guide me in somewhere… I look around and saw a lighthouse nearby. It is placed not far from the seashore… right on the top of a big rock, that white lighthouse is standing with a off lights. I wonder why I didn’t saw that before…

Lily
A bit confusing at the beginning but this is a very nice story. Read every chapter till the end and it’s a good ending. But I’m a bit curious what happen to marco and hera after they heard the news that kianna died in car accident.

A good story. The switches between past, present and her two lifetimes were a bit confusing but in general I enjoyed the narrative and the development of the mystery of her death and the birth of her new love! Well done author!

Flaming August's Embers

Flaming August's Embers

Instead, she took the lane where most guests went into. She can identify familiar flowers that she came across like red tulips, sunflower, and purple orchids, but that did not stop her to be wonder struck by its beauty. She kind of feels thirsty too. Some drinks like fruit shakes or smoothies must be available at the lighthouse. Finally, she reached the ground floor. Shell beads hang at the entrance giving a noisy sound, and when the wind blows, it acknowledges her arrival. Welcome to Bidlisiw Garden. You are now entering The Subang Lighthouse.

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

The sweet, enduring yield of a love that had refused to give up on a broken world, and had, against all odds, taught it how to mend. The lighthouse light swept its eternal arc across the dark water, no longer a warning, but a beacon. Not saying stay away, but welcome home. The story of Audrey and Luther was done. But the garden they had planted, with human hands and a little help from the silence, was just beginning to bloom.

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

[The Lighthouse of Legacy] The air inside the lighthouse lantern room was still, holding the cool, dry scent of ancient parchment and the lingering ozone of the sea. Outside, the great glass panes offered a 360-degree view of the Atlantic, where the waves churned in ink-black swells under a blanket of stars. But Jinyan and Panni weren't looking at the horizon. They were looking at each other, the golden star on the map between them acting as a final seal on their past.

Beneath Lagos Rain

Beneath Lagos Rain

"...it would mean we had already failed." Silence settled over the room. No one argued. Because every person present carried some responsibility for how they had arrived there. Lydia walked towards the old lighthouse window. The beacon above had begun rotating once again after the emergency generator restored power. Its light swept across the Atlantic. Back and forth. Back and forth. She smiled faintly. "My mother used to tell me something." Amara looked at her. "What?" "'A lighthouse does not chase ships.'" "It simply refuses to stop shining."
