I give them to her. "I love roses but the fact you brought the red ones scores you another point in my book." she smells them. "Good to know that." I grin. "But you know you needn't have brought them anyway." she stares. "I wanted to." I reply. I was passing this flower shop when I saw these good looking roses. My mind immediately went to Della and I knew I had to get her a bouquet. "Okay. A minute, I need to put these in a vase." I wait for her from outside before she returns all set. We get inside the car and I fire the engine to the busy street.

And the blush that was barely receding was back again. "I'm not a pretty little flower, Roses are as pretty as they are dangerous." Mesmerised, I stare at them as the butler comes to the bed, smiling. He gives it to Christian and disappears right away. Christian looks at the bouquet first and then at me. I can't wait to hold that beauty. "You want them?" He raises his eyebrows. "Yes", I nod excitedly just like a toddler does for chocolates. "They are so pretty" "183 roses for spending 183 days with me" He gives it to me but keeps holding it because it's too heavy. I stare at the blood-red petals. "Hey, I didn't give them to you for this", he suddenly came in between me and my lap where I have the roses.

However, before the food was served, the waiter brought over a bouquet of red roses. "This is for Ms. Stafford, sent by one Mr. Pennington in congratulations for the successful art exhibition." Heather did not take the flowers. She told the waiter to send them back. "Tell Mr. Pennington that I don't like red roses." Red roses were Anne's favorite, not hers. She only liked pink ones.

Ada's manager wondered aloud worriedly. "I remember you like the gothic style, Ada. How about black roses?" Alyssa suggested with a grin. "Black roses?" Ada squealed in excitement. "We decorated the previous venue with ten tons of red roses. We don't have time to redecorate everything, but switching to Essagerian black roses would be easy." Ada's face was glowing. She had liked Alyssa's first event proposal, but this second one was her dream wedding. Black roses were symbols of mystery, desire, and possession. The symbolism was unique, cool, and romantic.
