"I told the guards I saw someone near the holding cells. A stranger. A scout from another pack. I sent them chasing shadows." I didn't respond. "Aren't you going to thank me?" "No." Her smile flickered. Just for a moment. Then it returned, brighter than before. "What do you want, Alessia?" She walked to the window and looked out at the darkness. The moon was high. The grounds were quiet. Somewhere in the distance, a wolf howled. "I want what I've always wanted," she said. "I want to be your Luna." I stood. "That's not going to happen."

Another reminder that I was a Luna who knew nothing about her people's culture, The reality of that didn't settle well with me. "It simply mean the first ball of the month. Unlike the humans, our months are classified as moon. The next full moon, meaning the next month. A full moon occurs only once a month and it last for about three to seven days" She explained politely and I nodded thoughtfully, realizing that I just found a tutor. Ahri voiced out her thoughts. "If today is March 22, 2300, the new moon... " Henri stooped and placed his right hands below his chin. He tried to calculate the next possible new moon. "The Moon revolves around Earth in an elliptical orbit with a mean eccentricity of 0.0549. As a result, the Moon’s distance from Earth (center-to-center) varies with mean values of 363,396 km at perigee (closest) to 405,504 km at apogee (most distant). The length of the mean synodic month (New Moon to New Moon) as calculated for the year 2000 is 29.530588 days (= 29d 12h 44m 03s). However, the length of any synodic month can vary from 29.26 to 29.80 days due to the perturbing effects of the Sun on the Moon's ec

The fire crackled low, the rain still roaring against the roof. When she finally spoke, her tone had changed. “Twins born under two moons,” she murmured, “that’s no small omen.” I looked to her, confused. “Two moons?” She pointed to the window. Outside, through the storm clouds, the sky had split, one full moon glowing pale and white, another haloed faintly in red behind it, as if the heavens themselves couldn’t decide which to show. Nilam’s voice dropped to a whisper. “Two moons, two souls. Destiny and ruin, side by side. Remember that, girl.”

My father pleads, casting me one last look. After that, he exits the mansion with Lester. Logan appears back at my side, looking between me and Ryat. “What's going to happen now?” He stares questioningly at Ryat. The older man looks outside at the darkening sky, then back at me. “The first two moons are out.” Logan follows his trail, looking at the sky adorned with two grandiose moons. “What does it say?” He looks back at Ryat. “We don't have much time, alpha.”

That is why Mara, the daughter of the most loyal Beta of our pack, is his mate-to-be. If he does not find his true mate by twenty-five, he gets betrothed to a female worthy o

It cried out--not a sound which was to be heard by mortal men--and fell apart. Akira looked at her hand, which trembled. "I... didn't know I could do that." "You're linked to two moons now." I tried to keep my voice calm. You are better than either of us supposed. She lifted her gaze to mine. Is that how I am supposed to feel? There was another crash in response to her--then another. It was as though it were in a tempest of claws and fury that shook the building. I leaned in, and my forehead touched hers one stolen moment.
