A V*rgin For The Three Mafia Bodyguards

A V*rgin For The Three Mafia Bodyguards

My heart hammered so hard I felt it in my teeth. Sabina lunged for me, eyes wild now, water streaming down her face. “You little bitch—” I raised the gun with both shaking hands and pointed it straight at her chest. Water poured into my eyes, blurring everything, but I locked my elbows and tried to look like I knew what I was doing. “Give me the drive,” I shouted over the screaming alarm. My voice cracked, but the words came out anyway. “Now.”

The Day We Said Goodnight

The Day We Said Goodnight

"I'm not a good brother to you, Celeste. I lacked being a brother to you. I'm so sorry. Sorry for making you feel not worthy. Will you still be mad if today the world ends? Will you still be upset if today one of us is dead I ask you, lil sis look at me my heart doesn't beat if we don't meet my veins go numb and I can't breath. " I could no longer understand him and what he was saying. Why does it seem to make sense and mean so deeply? Is he saying something thru song? Bang .... banggg ..... bang .... bang ...... banggg .... Ivan and I looked at each other and immediately got up from the seat because of the gunshots we heard. Where did that come from? Isn't the Ace of spades already attackin

Sold To The Wrong Mr. Right.

Sold To The Wrong Mr. Right.

“Twenty seconds. Let go of her. Or get out of my bar.” Their faces paled. Paul, with a desperate and guttural cry, suddenly drew a gun, pointing it at Lorenzo. The world went silent. Then, the shattering of glass. Screams. Gunshots exploded, a symphony of chaos. The acrid smell of blood filled the air, thick and metallic.

Encore with the Devil

Then, on the downbeat of the next verse— Dante’s silhouette shifts in the wings—too fast. The lights cut out. All of them. Instant black. The sound of my guitar dies in my hands. For a split second, there’s stunned silence. Then screams. High and jagged. Chairs scrape. Someone shouts, “Down!” in Italian. A gunshot cracks through the dark. Loud. Close. The concussion of it hits my chest like a fist. I freeze— And the world tilts into chaos.

My Mafia Savior

"This is personal." The room erupted into chaos as the guards realized the situation. Guns were drawn, but it was too late. My men had already infiltrated the shadows, and their bullets found their targets with surgical precision. The sound of gunfire was deafening, the smell of gun powder filling the air. Torres's men fell like dominoes, their loyalty to their leader evaporating in the face of death.

Changed her mind few seconds later and pointed it at my heart "There are only two bullets inside this gun and both are for you. The first one is for your heart and the second one for your head. Don't dream of surviving because you won't be surviving my shots" "Lexi please" I begged and tears rolled down my eyes "Don't beg me. This book was great... I like the fact that this was a short story but the story from chapter 30+ onwards feels kinda rushed, like why would suddenly Sofia n Nicole get caught for murder? That part seems random... Regardless I still enjoy the read.

Some of the characters were mixed up. But the story is good for the adults. And its steamingly hot. I literally got a Hard-on. Other words missed the approstraphy and other misspelled words. Proof-read it will do the trick. Overall. Great Book.

Left My Ex, Married The Billionaire CEO

Left My Ex, Married The Billionaire CEO

The wind tugged at me, almost playful, as though asking me to dance. Is this how I die? I closed my eyes, feeling the void beneath my heel, preparing for the fall. Then gunshots rang out, shattering the night. The sound was deafening, sharp cracks that echoed off the surrounding buildings. I opened my eyes in time to see the men scatter, shouting in confusion. More shots—these ones hitting the rooftop itself, sparking off the concrete near the stairwell entrance. "What the fuck…" "It's them! It's the Black Herd!"

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

Of all the songs… I take a deep breath and step out of the room. The hallway is a chaotic mess. Three guards are running toward me, guns raised. I don't hesitate. My Glock barks, spitting out lead. One drops instantly, a bullet between his eyes. The other two stumble, surprised by my speed and accuracy. A quick double-tap takes them both down.

This book is by far one of the best books I have read on here. Many laughs and many, many tears. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong female lead along with supernatural entities. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Wonderful book though there are gruesome and painful torturous moments but the main lead is a brave, strong, kind hearted, positive and loving lady. Her positive outlook and disposition is commendable. Plenty of twist, hope, love lovely moments then psin real painful to read.. Hope for more lovely b

The lyrics of '21 Guns' by Green Day have always struck a chord with me, not just because of the band's signature punk-rock energy, but because of the raw emotion and depth behind the words. At its core, the song seems to grapple with themes of surrender, resilience, and the toll of emotional battles. The title itself, '21 Guns,' references the military tradition of a 21-gun salute, often a symbol of honor or farewell. But here, it feels repurposed—less about tribute and more about the exhaustion of fighting, whether in relationships, personal struggles, or even larger societal conflicts. Billie Joe Armstrong’s lyrics ask, 'Do you know what’s worth fighting for?' which feels like a moment of vulnerability, questioning whether the pain is worth the outcome.

One interpretation I’ve sat with is that the song mirrors the weariness of the Iraq War era (the album '21st Century Breakdown' came out in 2009, steeped in political disillusionment). Lines like 'When it’s time to live and let die' echo a sense of futility, while the chorus—'One, 21 guns / Lay down your arms'—could be a plea for peace, both externally and internally. But what I love is how open it remains; it’s not just about war. It’s about anyone who’s ever felt drained by their own battles. The bridge, 'Did you try to live on your own / When you burned down the house and home?,' hits like a breakup anthem, too. Maybe that’s the magic of Green Day—they wrap big ideas in melodies that feel personal. Every time I hear it, I think about the times I’ve had to ask myself when to keep going and when to walk away.
