30 Days With My Mean Senior

30 Days With My Mean Senior

“No exceptions. No excuses. And no ending it early.” The room becomes still. Not in a big way. But enough. Thirty days. It’s longer than a joke. Long enough to be a problem. Long enough to matter. “And if I refuse?” I ask. Adrian’s eyes meet mine, steady and unbothered. “You won’t.” He’s right. Refusing would be… unnecessary. This isn’t a situation that needs avoiding. It’s a small problem. Easy to handle and temporary. Thirty days is not much in the grand scheme of things. And relationships— are not important.

Thirty days to forever

Thirty days to forever

“Thirty days to find a husband. That's insane, right? Tell me that's insane.” “It's certainly unconventional,” he allows, gently enough that I almost believe it's a kindness and not just a fact. “There is no approved list, no shortcut. It has to be real — filed, witnessed, provable if it's ever challenged, and given what's at stake, it will be challenged.” “Great,” I say. “On top of finding a husband in a month, I have to convince a courtroom it's real.” “I'm sorry,” he says, and he sounds like he means it, which is the only reason I don't cry right there in the chair that's too big for me.

The Billionaire's Runaway Bride

The Billionaire's Runaway Bride

“Where the hell has she gone for a month?” “Wiscasset for the yearly art show.” “Oh . . . yes. Her work is great. It should be in an art show,” Blake said. He had never seen her work. He just wanted to appear like a friend of hers so the man would tell him more - hopefully. “Surely, the art show isn’t going to go on for a month.” “Nah. Just three days. She’s going to stay out there for a month for inspiration she said. Trying to find more things to draw and paint,” the black man explained and leaned back in the rocker and stayed in that position.

The Alpha's Regret

The Alpha's Regret

"Let me help. Please." Looking at her eager face, I realized this could actually work. Not the same as Webb's installation, but potentially more meaningful. More us. "Okay. Call your artist friends. Tell them we need pieces in three weeks. I'll handle the human side and the press pivot." I felt the first stirring of hope. "This might actually save us." --- The next three weeks were controlled chaos. I worked eighteen-hour days, coordinating artists, redesigning the exhibition space, pivoting all our marketing. Skyler helped where he could—building display walls, hanging lights, handling the physical labor I couldn't manage alone.

Falling for the bad girl

Falling for the bad girl

"Just discussing an opportunity Lucy should absolutely pursue." I felt a familiar mix of excitement and terror. Competitions meant exposure. Vulnerability. Telling stories I'd worked hard to keep private. "The deadline is in two months," Mrs. Rodriguez said. "Plenty of time to develop a truly remarkable piece." I left the art room with the competition guidelines, my mind spinning. The possibility both excited and terrified me. At home, I spread the papers across my desk, tracing the competition requirements. Mixed media. Narrative art. Maximum dimensions. Submission guidelines.

Mated to My Powerful Alpha Abroad

Mated to My Powerful Alpha Abroad

“I don’t know why they're giving us so much down time. After the first challenge, you would think they would want to get everything rolling.” In the back of my mind, that silent clock that was sent 10 days ago ticked away. I had 20 days left before my 30 days were up and I had to turn myself in to Jason. Dread seeped into my body. I tried to push away the negative emotions and just lived in the moment. Right now, I was with Craig under a beautiful moon. Jason was an ocean away and a problem I would face another day. “I didn’t know you could paint,” I started, changing the topic. I nudged my shoulder with his. “Why didn’t you enter using that as your medium?”

Falling For His Forsaken Wife

Falling For His Forsaken Wife

"Then we practice feeling it. Small moments where you allow yourself to just be. Not creating, not achieving, just existing." She gave me an assignment: spend one hour each day doing something completely unrelated to art. No sketching, no gallery visits, no reading about contemporary theory. Just being a person with interests outside of work. I chose cooking. Something tactile and creative but entirely separate from painting. Wednesday, I made bread from scratch, kneading dough and waiting for it to rise. The process was meditative—hands occupied, mind quiet. Alex came home to find me covered in flour. "What happened here?"

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

This time she had given a canvas to work on and started with some basic artwork and worked on making more elegant pieces based on the basic shapes. Their assignments for the evening were to create 5 more art pieces using their assigned basic shapes. “Don’t forget, we have dinner this evening,” Cassidy-Ann reminded me just as I was packing up my own stuff. “6:00 pm, I’ll send you the details.” “I’ll see you there,” I said to her, joining Enzo who waited for me at the door. … “How many did we do for sales this week?” Cassidy-Ann asked as she sipped her red wine. She sat across the table from me, and Enzo sat beside me.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.

CAGED, CLAIMED, AND FATED

CAGED, CLAIMED, AND FATED

"We have three more presentations today. Make sure you keep your notes clean." I closed my eyes, a silent sob catching in my throat as my body continued to throb with the aftershocks of the climax. I gripped my pen, my dress soaked beneath me, knowing with absolute certainty that the sixty-day challenge wasn't just a countdown anymore. It was a systematic execution of my sanity. And I was loving every single second of it.
