Fourth Life, New Husband

Fourth Life, New Husband

After all, he had been my obsession for three lifetimes—and I'd been willing to die for him, again and again. But all my unwavering love had brought me nothing but his betrayal and cruelty. And when our eyes met once more—his filled with disgust—I felt an unexpected calm. No one could have guessed what I would do next. I glanced at the wooden panels laid out on the table, each etched with a name. Without hesitation, I picked up the one that bore the name of Lance's rival. "I choose Jace Elden." The room fell into chaos. Even my father looked at me in disbelief.

RUIN MY 4.0

RUIN MY 4.0

Nikolai’s jaw tightens. I lean in closer. “If you want a male slut, go buy one. They’re cheaper on the corner of Houston and you won’t have to stalk them. Or is that part of the kink? Getting off on how disgusting and easy I am?” “Aiden, stop,” he growls. He looks really angry now. Like I’ve crossed a line I wasn’t supposed to. But I can’t. The words are spewing out of me now. “I’m not your charity case. I’m not some sad little toy you get to mess with because you’re bored. You want someone who’ll drop to his knees the second you snap your fingers? Fine. Go get someone.”

Thank you all for your support!!!! (〒﹏〒) We're finally done with Nikolai and Aiden's story. Please help this book reach a wider audience by dropping an honest comment. I hope to see you in my next book!!!

I very much enjoyed this story. Both Aiden & Nikolai make for a great dual protagonist combo. There were minor inconsistencies such as descriptions of a character’s physical traits changing, but nothing that messed with the flow of the story. Loved the plentiful spicy scenes as well. I recommend!

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

“What about outsiders? Maddox got in. Could someone else have?” Sylvara’s vine-hair twitches. “Maddox’s access was my decision, a calculated risk. His shadow-realm ties make him a valuable scout, but the wards are keyed to reject unknown auras. The keystone’s placement suggests an insider—someone already bound to the Hollow.”

He looks like a statue in the middle of a bloodbath, and I’d love to make him realize the fruit of his massacre. “A couple of minutes ago, you asked why I did not take my battle position. My apologies, but Calista clan only take into positions when their opponent deserves violent and ignominious death. And I . . . ” my feet drawn back with a single step, “didn’t consider you as my enemy . . . until now.”

ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA

ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA

I roared, my voice echoing through the mist. The attackers halted. A slow clap echoed through the air, and from the shadows, a figure emerged. A woman stepped forward—tall, draped in flowing robes woven with silver threads, her hair as dark as the night. Her golden eyes gleamed with amusement. "Impressive," she murmured. "Most outsiders are dead by now." I straightened. "I assume you are Elder Moira?" The woman smirked. "Clever girl. You have entered the Fourth territory uninvited. Give me one reason not to let the swamp consume you."

Outside the Lines You Drew

Outside the Lines You Drew

Three months later, on a Friday, I worked overtime until nine at night. When I walked out of the office building, the humid wind of a tropical night brushed my face. I took a deep breath and rubbed my sore neck. To get from here to my apartment, I had to pass through a lively food street. I was looking down, replying to a work message, when out of the corner of my eye I spotted two people standing across the street. My steps stopped short. The neon lights were dazzling, but I still recognized that figure at a glance. Simon Carver.

An Outsider in My Own Family

I smiled as I made a call, "Hello, officer? As far as I know, Madeline Lewis owed a huge gambling debt abroad, and she returned just to raise money. I suspect she might have trafficked Fable Lewis." An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth—I just had to get back at those who wronged me. Otherwise, what was the point of life?

Jaguar's Shadow

Jaguar's Shadow

As the first light of dawn began to paint the sky, Kai and Zira set out. They moved silently through the jungle, their feet finding purchase on paths invisible to outsiders. Kai led the way, his senses alert for any sign of the strangers. "Tell me about them," Zira said softly as they paused to drink from a clear stream. "The outsiders you saw." Kai cupped his hands, bringing the cool water to his lips before answering. "There were three. Two men - one older, weathered by the sun and jungle. A guide, I think. The other was young, nervous. New to his place, I think."

Protected by the Moon Goddess

From this vantage point, high on the other side of the narrow valley, I can easily spy on the Alphas as they play with their little toy. But these are no ordinary inhabitants of the Zone. This is clear from the omega's short hair and the leather boots on his feet. She is an Outsider and also one of the Alphas. I hate strangers. I kill Outsiders. Nothing else brings me more pleasure. It's a pity that treacherous creatures rarely venture into the Zone. Opportunities to get revenge are very rare. But this opportunity is too good to pass up. Outsider's blood will be spilled tonight. Crawling slowly, the sound of my movements masked by the rain, I pull away from the edge of the broken road and ma

Intruder

His eyes meet mine, and for a moment, neither of us moves. The voice on the other end of the line speaks. "Ken, are you okay?" Ken, short for Kendrick? My hands turn clammy. My head spins. He doesn't break eye contact. After what feels like forever, he responds. "Yes, I am. Call me when you get back." He ends the call. I collapse onto the floor, my veil slipping loose around my neck. Kendrick. The scar. The wheelchair. Kendrick Harrold is alive.
