8th Deadly Sin 소설 & 이야기

"What's happened, Rocco?" I asked with a fever as I hurried into my SUV. "Niles DeMarco's dead, Tony Rizzio's been shot, Mario Pugliese's dead, and Ollie DiNiro has been shot, Sir," Rocco answered as he continued to wipe the blood and sweat from his face. "Who was it?" I demanded, as I looked back at my cousin. "Who the hell hit me? Who had the gall enough to hit the most potent family without a blessing?"

He pushed him on the ground making him fall on his back, in a swift, he placed his dark polished shoes on his chest pressing him tightly on the floor while Matteo groaned. "I'm........!" Matteo wanted to say when Lucifer pressed his chest harder. He can't say sorry cause Lucifer hates that word, anyone who mistakenly says it get murdered instantly. "Spare.....me!" He pleaded as he coughed out blood. "Spare!" Lucifer repeatedly, his expression motionless. He bents towards Matteo using his pistol to play with his head. "I don't spare lives, I take lives!" He whispered and Matteo shivered more. Lucifer stood up facing Blaze, who nodded immediately.

Perhaps, because he understood how fearsome Hades was and the pressure that he exuded, Bennett burst into a scream as he rushed at Hades. Hades’s eyes just looked at him coldly. Symmetry of Seven. This sword technique that he acquired from his teacher was coming from Murim World. It was the basis of all Darkness swordsmanship. This technique was representative of the underworld. Seven cardinal directions brought together on the underworld and beneath the fiery of the underworld combined into seven deadly sins. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth. It represented everything within the underworld as well as the greatest sins.

"You should have used the yellow wolfsbane, works everytime." He gasped, struggling against my grip. I smirked at his pale face as it had lost all it's color. "No one needs a priest like you, in fact, I'm doing the world a favor. You should've confessed your sins when I gave you the chance to, maybe you could've been going to a better place or else…" I trailed off, digging my claws harder into his neck. "...see you in hell." Just then, I clawed at his stomach, causing blood to splash all over myself. His lifeless body dropped helplessly to the ground, a pool of blood quickly forming around him.

I quizzed with a quirked brow. "Yes, I realize that. Every being experiences at least one of those sins in a lifetime but you have light energy in you to give you better judgment. It should be easier to not commit all seven the way most of my kind do," he informed which got me thinking. If lust was one of the seven deadly sins and most dark angels experienced it, didn't that mean that they had pointless sex? If they weren't careful, wouldn't that mean there were more hybrids like me or half-bloods like Alina?

When his head snapped back up, he trembled, his bones trying to break free from his flesh. My eyes broke free from the sight when Aleskander came closer. “Want to spend all night staring at Viktor?” he asked, his voice cool and neutral. There was no hint of rage in them. Just plain ol’ Aleskander. I didn't answer him. Instead, my mind did a recap on the file containing the Seven Deadly Sins. Then my mouth widened, realization settling in. “He's Viktor Von Stein? The Sin of Gluttony?” I murmured under my breath.

Tom did not take the accusation lightly, his hands clenched under Suzanne’s. The vampire proceeded to explain, “All the seven deadly sins that humanity is guilty of; lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride have somehow created a splinter to the gates of hell. The black mist is but the beginning.” “Technically, you are a part that damnation,” Tom retaliated. The vampire covered his mouth in mock surprise, “Touche…but like I said before, my kind and I played no part in this. Look, I am here to offer my aid. I am not your enemy.”

The Seven Sins are the most powerful demons, after Lucifer, to ever exist. Feared by all and wielding unbelievable power, they can wreak havoc without even meaning to. Hence, they mostly remain in their strongholds and barely ever step out to grace the outside world with their presence. They are Pride, Lust, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Sloth and Gluttony.

I mocked, "Does you pride hurts realizing that I am superior than you in many ways than one when I'm fully a demon?" Mortem is annoyed as he said, "I guess we won't find out because I'll be killing you now." "You just couldn't let that pride go, couldn't you?" I said, "You just had to be the best- number one." "What can I say? That's the original sin after all, Tate." Mortem said as he lunged at me using his pesky shadows to force me inside the death ring where instant death awaits for the defeated one. It's barbaric which is my father, Satan got rid of it during his reign but demons being demons, insisted we keep it.

I don't understand what they're talking about, but I know it's something dangerous and I don't want to risk it, I can't risk hurting Hope. 'I told you, I'm a very old spirit, Dylan. My power is gigantic. I am the Sins, those who walk today and those who once were.' 'That's why I'm training, that's why we're training!' 'You are right. When we started training, we chose Gluttony, because it is a simpler sin to control, but I know that what is going to happen soon, is that you are going to need to trust me, blindly. Without that, we can't move forward.'
