The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

And beneath it all, a new scent: the cold, dead-universe smell of mercury and silence. The workshop was ransacked. Tools scattered. Dimensional components shattered on the floor. And sitting in the center of the destruction, on his own workbench like a puppet with cut strings, was the Hollowsmith. The clockwork man's bronze body was cracked and tarnished. His mismatched glass eyes flickered, one red, one green, both dimming. His needle-thin fingers were broken, bent at impossible angles. "Ah," the Hollowsmith wheezed, his voice grinding like stripped gears. "The boy who broke the sky, come to break the clockmaker."

The Wrong Vow: Bred by the Mafia Twins

The Wrong Vow: Bred by the Mafia Twins

"Please retrieve the data." My eyes remained locked on the book as the timeline ticked dangerously close to his scheduled departure. The minutes dragged by like hours in the dim red tactical light. The digital clock finally registered exactly 20:30 hours. Suddenly, the heavy mahogany back-panel of the wardrobe slid open in complete, chilling, mechanical silence. A large, pale hand shot out from the dark, architectural void. With lightning speed, the fingers snatched the poetry book directly off my pillow. "Rocco," I whispered, scrambling off the bed and rushing toward the closet.

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

Jax roared, growing to twice hzis size, his sapphire fur erupting into a mane of blue fire as he tore into the Null sentries. Sarah stood over me, her golden light creating a dome that shattered the shadow-spears as they struck. "Hurry, Elara! The anvil is getting hotter! I can't hold the souls much longer!" I entered the **Clockwork**. It was a world of infinite, grinding mathematics. I saw the strings of data that connected Silas to the Forge. They were like silver umbilical cords, feeding him the "logic" of the Nulls and draining his humanity.

Omega (Book 2)

Omega (Book 2)

It was like he was trying to remember where he was. “What time is it?” he asked. Wilkes took a quick glance at his wristwatch. “6:34,” he said. “If you don't get up now, when you finally do, the day's activities will be twice as difficult to gi through.” Harold grunted as he got on his feet. He knew that was true. He looked around the room as if searching for something. “Looking for anything?” Wilkes asked. “Yeah, yeah,” Harold drawled. “The waffles. I'm really hungry.”

Crimes and Punishment

Crimes and Punishment

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

I finally found it and made my way to it. I looked for a particular book. A Clockwork Orange—that's what he said its name will be. I sat down and looked at the bottom rack but there wasn't any book by that name, I looked for fifteen minutes and still couldn't find it until I caught a glimpse of some book laying under the rack. I slid my hand under it and pulled the book out. I sighed in relief as I read the name “A Clockwork Orange”

This mafia series is wonderful. Once you read it you'll understand how beautiful this series is. The plot is not like any other story. I keep re-reading this series, especially this book. I never regretted finding this book. Every character is well written. Nikolai is absolutely one of my favorites.

27 chapters read, the book is really addicting, although I am not a fan of very young innocent female leads. My second book from this author, the first one was the one with the mayor's wife. I must say I liked that one more, it was something different, many books have similar storylines, this one too

Nora: Rejected Lost Princess

Nora: Rejected Lost Princess

It wasn’t until I reached the bottom of the last cabinet that I found something different. A slim, flat leather-bound book. No title on the cover. No markings on the spine. Just a plain book, worn at the corners. I flipped it open. The first page was filled with faded handwriting. I squinted at the words. The orb does not serve. It lives. To touch its center is to hold time itself. But time bends for no one. I turned the next page, and what I saw chilled me. Drawings. Human-like figures who had once tried to take the orb’s core energy. Some had melted into shadows. Others had aged backward until they vanished completely. There were notes scribbled beside them—"strength unmatched but short-li

how many chapters are there in the book and why do you continue to make Carlos a pain in the ass and a main character I thought the story was to destroy him and take everything from him I would think he should be dead not trying to be sexual with Nora she is better than that and needs better than it

Why do I feel the female lead is pathetic? And what's up with these alphas always rejecting someone they like because she's weak only to cry buckets later? The book is very interesting though, I like and recommend it.

More than anything, she was concerned about her friend. **** This book is sequel to the first book Innocence. You have to read the first book to know the story clearly. The first book "Innocence" is available here on my Goodnovel profile. And then comes the second book "Innocence || book 2". Thanks for reading. Please vote and comment :)

The Boy who Circled Time

The Boy who Circled Time

He couldn't sit on the beanbags as it would be bad for his back and Doctor Johnstone would correct him silently, doing her job and without comment, like a blank interface existing to mask the efficient, cold, unjudging code running on the machinery behind the back panel. She was so much like Sýnnefa, only she actually spoke, and didn't hide her face behind technology. She was still following programming. Everybody followed programming. It was natural. But what programming did he follow? A man who had followed Gryaz blindly then put sunglasses on to combat the harsh, grey glares of Sýnnefa, deciding to shoot down that rotten sun, before it even had the chance to rise up into the sky over the

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

“Brother Orange.” Her voice snapped back to reality. Knowing Shadow, she wouldn’t peek into his mind, or even if she did, she did well to act ignorant. “Hmm?” He answered. “What is this glowing thing?” Currently, Orange is processing their unconsciousness inside the book. The process was quite delicate and took a few minutes to finish. “I am putting their consciousness inside the book.” “So, if they die in the book, will he wake up to reality?” “Depends. In this case, they will not wake up until the finished five death scenarios.”
