I let out a breath, one that had been tucked away as Justin spoke. I had literally just found out that my stepfather was a vampire who took my mother as his beloved, having me live with them in a coven that resembled Stepford. Now he's telling me that my ex-boyfriend is an incubus. Oh, and I just found out I do have a mate and the uncontrollable urge to pounce him is still there. I had stopped breathing, my vision becoming black. I had handled so much shit in such a short amount of time I was ready to explode. Vampires, werewolves, incubus, mate... what more can I take?

I folded my hands across my chest and frowned at him in both confusion and annoyance.
