For a moment, the two men just stared at each other.
“Well,” Dimitri said, voice gravelly, bitterly amused. “Took you long enough.”
Miguel’s hand twitched near his holster. “You’re supposed to be dead.”
Dimitri smirked faintly. “Almost was. You made sure of that.”
