My Singing Alpha

My Singing Alpha

My bad day turned better with Midnight Wolf’s serenade. “Homework piling up, like a mountain so steep, Detention slips and red ink, life's not so sweet. Lost my lunch money, the cafeteria's a war zone, But in the chaos, I'll find seeds to be sown. I'll keep on walking, through the crowded halls, Every pop quiz, every stumble, every grade that falls. 'Cause I know deep down, in the mess I'm in, I'll find the answers, let the new day begin.”

Her Feral Professor [ Your Professor Shouldn't Taste You]

Her Feral Professor [ Your Professor Shouldn't Taste You]

It fades into the background even, as we look at each other, laughing. Zane Orion POV: I know she is watching me nervously as I read her collection of three poems published by an online literary magazine called Raven. It is for their summer publication. Alex wrote three poems that captured the spirit of summer through the point of view of a fifteen year old both dreading and yearning to resume senior high-school. The three poems follows a centre theme and the last one kind of leaves the imagined protagonist in the middle of their conflicting feelings.

When the bully falls in love

When the bully falls in love

“ Okay,’’ the teacher signaled the people who were clapping at her poem before handing over my book. DEMI GOD Ye god of beauty, Ooh Israelite god lost in earth Ye is full of walking metaphors and perfections Your breath oozes love and makes beautiful flowers to blush Like a virgin caught in a midnight dance with bachelors Thou eyes glow like molten lave and hot coals, healing broken hearts. The girl finished reading my book and the whole class kept quiet, this was a big disappointment. The poem was only supposed to be one stanza, about love. The bully turned around and looked at my seat with a blank expression, he seemed confused, wasn’t it obvious, it was a poem that I had written for him.

Rules of Glory: The Last Alpha

Rules of Glory: The Last Alpha

I say and go up to my room. I drop into my blue bean bag in front of the fish tank. I take the Poems, book out of my jacket pocket and hold it up. Easter Holidays is the first poem in this book. It's followed by Dura Navis and I don't know what to do with this other than to summarize what I thought these poems meant in tenth grade. I've never gotten gifts for my birthday. It never felt like a celebration for us. "Have you seen my other boot?" Miles asks. I turn back to see Micca toss it to him from the bed. "Sweet,"

The Fathers of My Child?

The Fathers of My Child?

I think of the comment that said, He married my womb, not me, and how I wrote it with shaking fingers and then hit post and almost threw up. The open mic starts. Naya taps the mic and says, “Be nice, be brave, be on time,” and people laugh. A guy with a long beard reads a poem about his dog. A teacher reads a tribute to her students that makes everyone clap because middle schoolers are wild and beautiful. A teenage boy performs a rap that's mostly about not wanting to be soft and then admitting he's soft. I find myself nodding with them, clapping with them, smiling like I didn’t know my face could still do that without permission.

Triplet Alphas Gifted Luna

Triplet Alphas Gifted Luna

"I had a crush on a boy. I wrote him a love poem. Goddess, this is embarrassing. It was so sappy. I put it in his locker, hid, and watched him find it. He read it, then his friends took it, and they passed it around, laughing and making fun of him. My only saving grace was that I didn't sign my name, so they didn’t know who wrote it. I threw away all my poetry books that day." “Your poor thirteen-year-old heart!” Misty said. “It was for the best. You don’t win a man’s heart by writing him poetry!” Tessa said. The girls laughed together. “Just because those boys didn’t appreciate the finer things in life doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still enjoy them,” Misty said. “She’s right,” Thea said. Thea

Danielle Bryan
I haven't read the whole book yet, only up to chapter 187, but I absolutely love this book. The storyline is amazing, and I keep binge reading even at work when I should be working. It's so hard to put it down. Now that I know it's available in paperback, those are going in my cart today.

I'm not even halfway through this book, and I love it already. It's so different from the usual werewolf books I read simply because it's not about dealing with rejection and surviving abusive family. It's so much more than I thought it would be. Please keep on writing like this it's perfect work.

The Lesson Plan

The Lesson Plan

He leaned forward slightly. "She was writing about how insulting it is to keep surviving things you shouldn’t have had to survive at all. There’s nothing triumphant in that poem." "No?" I tilted my head. "Then what is it?" "Fury," he said. "Dressed up nicely." The class went completely still. "How old are you?" I asked. "Nineteen. I lost a year." He said it flatly. Just a fact he accepted, or pretended to. "Reading Plath since when?"

PAIGE: Diary of a lost teen.

PAIGE: Diary of a lost teen.

I had expected Davina's place to be a club house full of adults but I was awed when we walked into this graceful place, it was a full house of teenagers. I guessed immediately that they were out school mates. With the way they danced and cheered, it was obvious that everybody knew somebody.

Collateral Love

Collateral Love

“What mom? How can you say that--” She gave me her phone. There was a poem he had written. “I’d love it if you read this and think that I feel anything for her-- “She was my life, she left, life left. Never had anything, even my soul has left. Being a boy was never the best thing, When the only girl I ever loved left. Do you know that feeling? When there is nothing to see? Because you just don’t know What you should be? When there is no reason to live
