A scream ripped from her throat. The stone flared violently, crimson light bursting like lightning, wrapping Yoona in tendrils of blood-red energy. Kimberly fell back, eyes wide with horror. Delilah cried out, scrambling to her feet. "Mother, no! NO!" The energy tore through Yoona, sucking at her very essence. Her skin glowed faintly, veins of light spreading as though her soul itself was being drained. But she held on, her hands locked around the cursed stone, her jaw clenched even as tears streaked her cheeks.
