Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

I cleared my throat, looking over at Alora, her free hand finding mine. "I, Damon Bloodstone, accept this bond and the crown that follows. I will protect my people with my life and bind myself to the mothers and the mate they have gifted me." My eyes didn't leave Alora's as I felt the blade slice across my palm. The silver burned as it pierced the skin, and blood pooled in my palm. "Now, Alora, repeat after me." Melody continued.

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

My ex's uncle is my second-chance mate.

My ex's uncle is my second-chance mate.

My father was the only one that showed love to me. "I know the bloodstone of Elizabeth Bathony. There are a lot of legends around it. The souls of the poor girls that she murdered are captured in that bloodstone. Others say that if you break the stone, you will release all the souls, and they will take their revenge on Elizabeth or whoever the bloodstone owner is at that stage. I do not know if I believe that because I do not know what happened back then. It can be that a gypsy or a witch has captured the souls of the young woman in that bloodstone. I do not believe it can protect who owns it, but one never knows," Robin says.

The Consuming Heart

The Consuming Heart

They may never have a weapon to kill her, but they could find something against her kind. Bloodstones. Maybe they looked like humans, but they were cut out of rocks. Harder, they were than diamonds. To destroy them would require the effort of a fellow bloodstone, or an army of them, and this would involve them reshaping a part of themselves, or the entirety of themselves into a weapon. Susan took to her feet, then she walked up to her bedside table and kept the book on the surface. She turned to Hannah, and arched a brow. “After you,” Susan said.

Sword of blood

Sword of blood

We were joined soon by Anthonier and Hilra who also appeared surprised at the sight. But while Xialara tried to check for a pulse in her neck and base of her thumb. Something else caught my eye. The ruby colored gem at the hilt of the sword was now a clear diamond. No sign of red. I picked it up by its blade and examined it under the moonlight to check for any cracks or possible leakages. There were none. The red color had just vanished. My blood was gone.

Loving a Selfish Lycan

Loving a Selfish Lycan

I said, smiling over its beauty. "It's a bloodstone. Very rare and very beautiful, like our Luna." A tall woman with dark purple scales spoke. I believe she was a Basilisk. I remembered Bolton said not to look them in the eye too long. "Thank you! Can I purchase it, and this one for my sister?" I held out a matching one with a blue stone. "The blood and tears. A perfect combination for you both. $300 for the set." "Seriously!" Hailey's mouth dropped.

Bond of the blood moon

Bond of the blood moon

Something in the forest seemed to react to it, the shadows shifting, the wind whispering through the trees. Kael’s jaw tightened. “This is… against every law,” he muttered. “It cannot happen. It shouldn’t happen.” Rowan’s gaze remained on Aria, unwavering, calculating. “Yet it has,” he said quietly. “There’s no denying it. The bond is here.” Dante’s lips curved into a wicked smile, though his eyes burned with something deeper. “Looks like someone’s in trouble,” he murmured, circling her again, slow, deliberate, as if savoring the tension.

 The Luna He Lost

The Luna He Lost

Maeve paused, staring at the center where the altar stood. “That’s not just a relic,” she murmured. “That’s a memory etched in stone.” And it was. The bloodstone was veined with crimson, almost alive under the moonlight. As I drew closer, my pulse began to echo louder, syncing with something… older. Something buried beneath my skin. I climbed the steps and laid both hands on the surface. Instantly, the world fell away. --- Darkness. Then flame. And suddenly I was somewhere else entirely—neither dream nor memory, but something in between.

Moonblood

Moonblood

I say. "For what she expended." Maret chooses her words carefully. Sets them down like objects she is placing on a surface she isn't sure will hold them. "What she carries, what was revealed tonight, it isn't something we have a reference for. Not in living memory. The Moonblood hasn't manifested fully in generations." She pauses. "She used a significant portion of it in a very short time. The shift. The fight. And then what she did for you." She says that last part without inflection.

Moonstone Lies

Moonstone Lies

She was the true grace the Moon Goddess had given me. Suddenly, a terrified howl erupted from the gravesite, cutting through the violence. The Beta warriors had dug through the earth. My body wasn't there. The corpse, a stranger hastily wrapped in rags, was not me. There was only a moonstone pendant, tied with a silk ribbon, glowing faintly beside the body. "The moonstone…" Kaelan's voice suddenly choked. He shakily picked up the pendant, his knuckles white from the force of his grip.
