They both sighed. Then Barbara said, “If you hide from him, he will hunt you down Agnes. You just cannot disappear without reason.”
“I know, that’s why I need to fake my death.”
“Your death?” The Baroness paled.
“Yes, auntie. A new beginning with a new name and identity.”
“Why? Do you realize what you are giving up? You’re giving up your name and your history. You’re giving up, on us.”
She nods. “I do. But for my child, even the whole world, I will give up Auntie. I’m sorry but I have to walk away from all these.”
