I hope you don't mind me bothering you to talk about books but I just finished reading a fantasy story, and I enjoyed it so much I'd like more to read. You're the only person I know who might have recommendations though! Do you know any good books I could read?

She looked down at her book and then smiled fondly. "Oh, this? It's my favourite. I'm rereading it for the fourth time. You'd probably think it's just a dumb kids book though. It's a fantasy novel." I smiled gently at her. "May I take a look?" I asked, and held out my hand. "S-sure!"

I walked over to it and opened it, revealing a set of ancient-looking books. Curiosity took hold of me, and I picked up one of the books. It was written in an old language that I couldn't decipher, but the illustrations on its pages were captivating. They depicted scenes of witches, demons, and other supernatural beings. I flipped through the pages, my mind racing with thoughts of Ayra and the witch. Could this book hold the key to saving her? Or was it just a useless artifact with no bearing on reality? As I pondered these questions, a voice interrupted my thoughts.

With a newfound sense of excitement, Katherine dove into the unknown. As she scanned the titles, one book caught her eye; its cover illustrated a swirling nebula, a scene reminiscent of the enchanting landscapes in "The Tides of the Myrtle." It was hefty, with a worn leather cover and a gilded spine that hinted at untold wonders. She gently pulled it off the shelf, her fingers grazing the aged paper.

I deserved better, this stupid year was just kicking my ass. Assuring myself of this, I took a deep breath out, running a hand through my hair as I crossed the road, headed straight into the library, putting my phone into my jacket pocket. The town library was exceptionally big, not too large though, but I must admit could hold quite a lot of books as they were rows upon rows. I made my way straight to the books about fantasy creatures, realizing that they were surprisingly many. Young Adult fantasy is a thing...like a big deal, I noted reading through so interesting titles, but not the specific one I was looking for.

Note to Readers: This book is a slow burn romance. There will be loads of description of emotions, feelings and actions throughout the book reaching to the climax. If that's not something you think you enjoy, then a heads up before you move forward and buy chapters. There was Fenrik, his golden eyes blazing with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine, but also a weariness that hadn't been present moments ago.
