I finished the last page, and by now, he was already deep into sleep, even though I know he can still hear me. I leaned down, pressing a soft kiss on his forehead. “Goodnight, baby,” I whispered.

He smiled broadly at what the interlocutor said. "But Santia saved him." "Exactly. By the way, Khione, I really need to go now. I have something to do because, but this book is really great. Don’t open my eyes. “Goodnight,” he whispers in my ear. And just like that, he’s gone. The closet door opens. Closes. Then, I open my eyes. What the hell was that?
