A Knights Tale Game Novels & Stories

They should have offered me a chair if they would question me for a long time. “Sister Mathilda, you are aware why you are here, correct?” The knight next to their sovereign asked. I remembered him, he was the arbiter on Gabriel and Felix’s match. I replied politely, “Yes, sir.” “Can you narrate what happened that night?” And then I did for the second time, but I left out the part where I played hero with my sisters and made sure that I rendered Philip solely as the evil. After my spot-on and dramatic narration, the war between me and the knights finally started.

I sent a mindlink to Bradley and the triplets, asking if it was okay I divulged some of our secrets in order to help her understand that I didn’t WANT to reject her, that I felt the NEED to reject her so she could have someone who would only think of her first. With their approval, I asked “Cailee, have you heard of the Knights League?” seeing her eyes widen with shock and recognition. “I am a Guardian Knight; I vowed to protect Ellie with my life no matter what. I can’t fully be your mate and do that at the same time,” I said sadly, hating to hear the words coming out of my mouth as if they somehow made the hurt more real.

(Flashback) Three years ago In the kingdom of Grellis, there were three realms- The Great Palace, the noble's region, and the commoner's district. Keane was a famous knight among nobles. Aside from his lineage, he has an outstanding talent and looks. He's the adoration of many noblewomen

Kael and the grand knight were in the center and the other seven knights surrounded them as they travelled on their horses. I can’t fight them but I just need to distract them only if I have my sword with me. Using just magic is not enough to distract them. Kael thought as he looked at the pine trees covered in snow they pass through. He turned to the Grand Knight’s back and looked down to his elegant sword. An enchanted sword, huh? There’s clearly no chance of fighting them. “So, you’re Kael? The son of king Kaelas?” Grand Knight Bryle said smiling. “I never thought you’re alive.” Kael remained quiet after what the knight said.

I suddenly heard a knock on the door. “Come in!” I said at once, and the door opened, revealing the head of warriors. He walked hurriedly towards me and bowed to greet me. “Good day, King.” He said as he bowed. I stared at him momentarily before asking. “What is the status?” I asked, gesturing with my hand. “We are ready. We are just waiting for darkness so that we can set out.” He said hurriedly, making me smirk slightly. I heaved a sigh as I turned around and walked to the closet to pick up my clothes.

Dressed and revived, I pass the corridors of the dormitory. Bare walls, a clean place, with a red Capet. As it has been even before I was in this world. I climb the stairs that lead to the great tower in the middle of this magnificent fortress. My arrival is already expected by many who greet me along the way. At the top of the stairs, I am welcome with the view of Camelot's treasure room. They were not large amounts of gold or jewelry, but armors of good kings and generals, swords forged by master craftsmen. Most importantly, the first version of the codebook of the knights of Castela. The true core and ruler of our nation. Next to it is the large door of the royal library, decorated with s

A silly little game, that is all it was supposed to be but it turned to so much more. It was four years ago and I was fourteen. It was my brother's going away party. At sixteen male werewolves go to academy to serve in the military and prepare for their adult roles in the pack. My brother Bo and his best friend Drake were leaving the next day. The adults had already called it a night and the teenagers had somehow ended up in the basement playing truth or dare, typical dumb kid stuff. When it came to Drake's turn, he was challenged to draw a name from a cup and go play seven minutes in heaven with them. He drew my name. I had always had a crush on Drake and this was my chance. He was gorgeous

Darren asked, his curiosity overwhelming him as he rose from his feet; slowly shuffling towards a large white cooler. Elika watched him as she thought, her mind overwhelmed by the urge to test out the television to see if he was speaking the truth, placing her hands neatly onto her knees as she began to speak, her tone low and light. “We have loads of games sir, especially when its winter, just stuff that everyone can participate in outside, like when my father rallies up his prisoners and ties apples to their heads and we have to shoot them off with arrows.” Darren chuckled slightly, reaching for a small can from the cooler as he turning towards the princess; his tone appearing friendly. “D

I sat off to the side, listening to my father's threats, trying to pressure Zach into marrying me. As the person directly involved, I wasn't allowed to speak. Zach remained resolute. "I will not marry Leah." Despite knowing this was all part of the game, hearing those words still struck a chord, a sudden, unexpected pang in my chest. The man before me, cold and proud, stood with a dignity that remained unshaken, even in front of my father. If things had been different, maybe we truly wouldn't marry. At my father's signal, eight bodyguards, all trained fighters, swiftly surrounded Zach.

Citadel Lower Rings, Market Vault The passkey glimmered behind the trader’s glass, a sliver of tech small enough to fit in a palm, powerful enough to open half the Citadel’s veins. Abigail’s eyes locked on it like it was oxygen. “Now,” she whispered. Samuel muttered something about bad ideas but moved anyway. He slipped a hand beneath his jacket, pulling the trader’s attention with a clink of credits while Abigail slid the case’s latch. The siren wailed.
