But strangely, this one didn’t feel like the same kind of threat. “Let go of me,” she said, although it came out as a whisper. The man’s breathing had changed, become erratic, like controlled chaos. Something about her had cut through the haze clouding his mind. Roman Knight had locked himself in this room minutes earlier. He had recognized the drug almost immediately, laughing at the mere foolishness of it. Firstly, that a mere drug could ever leave him a slave to his body, and secondly, that they were dead come morning. But the unnatural heat in his blood, and the fog in his mind that this person occupied told a different story.

" Look! This is a different color of blue compared to the color of your amulet. " He closely looked to his amulet and compared it to the amulet in the book. He also gives me a wondering look, he's confused. (You can see the picture of Kyle's amulet in my page, PitchdarkqueenKleyr Stories. The red knights; knight with a red flush painted on their armor, created to protect the king and queen till their death marched in spiking anticipation in the hearts of thousands. They dropped a letter before my father who opened it quickly and read before he stared at me and banged on the table loud. The members of the court took the letter, reading it as few gasped while others hid their head in shame. “Arrest them immediately and deal with the situation!” Father said as his eyes closed in pain before the red knights scattered. They headed towards me as August wrapped his arms around me gaining the knights curiosity before he walked past us to Lord Alfred who gasped in shock.

She walked ahead while I trailed behind her. . . . Natalie's P. O. V It was a mall, but it did have a lot of things that interested me, from the restaurant to the supermarket, to boutiques... “Don’t fight it, enjoy the pleasure.” I removed my fingers from her and stood up. I removed my shirt and my pajamas in front of her. My member was standing tall and erect in front of Gayle. I saw her eyes widened when she saw me naked and with a hard-on. Yes, babe, that’s what you do to me. That’s how hard I am for you. I went back to the bed with her and this time I didn’t waste any more time. I kissed her and then I positioned my shaft in her entrance teasing her.

Bitterness filled my veins as I sat in the shade, my ladies to my side, enjoying the pageantry as all the knights had flocked to me, waiting for my blessings. The knights knew to never fully challenge the lords, especially the Lord of the tournament. This was all a charade, the winner was predetermined, prepared. All the knights had their orders. Loose to the Lord, make a good show, make the Lord look all mighty.

“The host has chosen to play Evelyn. Just one chance. Save the princess, or you lose. Let's begin.” Evelyn was a psychological game, where one team had to guard the gate to the castle, while the other had to kidnap the princess. This would be easy. I picked a character, Baron, and soon the game began. They were good. Usually, it took me fifteen minutes to penetrate my enemies fortress but the game had been going on for at least an hour now. I had killed four people. Just one more to go, and I would be done. The knight protecting her was ruthless, but he was no match for me. I stole his sword and cut his head off, laughing when I heard the players groan from the chair next to me.

Cole was standing at the head of the table holding a document, and reading from it in the same flat tone he might use to summarize a quarterly report. "We are gathered to witness the legal union between Lucien Knight and Naya Whitlock," he said. I sat in the chair to Lucien's left. He sat straight, both hands resting on the table, his face showing nothing. He had not looked at me since I came in. He was staring straight ahead the way a person looks when they are already thinking about something else. I rubbed my fingers together in my lap. They were cold. Legal union. It wasn't a marriage of husband and wife.

More like a player noting a move on the board. They turned down a narrower hallway. Here the torches threw smaller pools of light, leaving shadows thick between them. “You don’t like him,” she said. “I don’t trust him.” “Because he spoke to me?” “Because he doesn’t move like the others.” Kael’s tone was mild, but there was a sharpness under it. “Knights are dangerous pieces, Serenya. Their strength isn’t in how far they move, but in how unexpectedly they arrive.” She almost laughed at that, but the sound stuck in her throat. “And what am I? A pawn?”
