When I don’t move to accept their “gift,” my father frowns at me. “To become the Lycan King, you must have a strong Luna at your side, and these ten are the best we could find. Your mother spent hours checking on their backgrounds, breeding, and abilities,” he informs me, and I can’t help but feel a sliver of disgust when he says breeding. Like they’re some sort of cattle to be traded. Without waiting for a response, he closes the file, stands, and puts it in my hand.

The sunken eyes have returned and she's looking at me as though I turned into a ghost. She pries her lips open to say something but no sound comes out. She closed them again and swallows dryly. "That isn't the only good news; Luna Willow is the rightful and only heir to the Lycan King's throne, So she will be Queen, and I will be king through her. Her coronation is on Sunday. I invite every pack member to join us to celebrate her ascension in the Lycan Kingdom. We will go in a convoy for protection," I said, and there was silence. I could see the disbelief in people's eyes. "Luna Willow is Lycan?" They asked, and I smiled at them,

It was maybe a three-second kiss, a minute, or even an hour full before Selene came to her senses. Selene tried to break the kiss, but his arms caged her body. Until she finally kicked his shin, and he broke the kiss. But his arms still encircled her. It did not make her hurt. But it sure made her stay in the place. “What did you do?” Selene shouted loudly. She prepared to kick his private area if he tried doing something like this. “Luna is a future queen of Lafazall Kingdom. She is the soulmate of the king and the alpha lycan wolf, the leader of the werewolf pack of this kingdom.”
