And I told you last night ” He crushed the cigarette out on the nightstand without breaking eye contact, hiss sharp, “I’ll consume every piece of you until nothing is left but me.”

Just then, Eugene came running over. He clapped gleefully at the video. "That old hag got what she deserved! I always hated her! "Dad, you don't know, but she never lets me eat ice cream or play games. She was just like Mom, so annoying!" I felt my heart twist with pain. I wanted to step forward and demand an explanation from Eugene so badly.

I toss a Loud Beetle towards the monster luring it towards the pit. The beetle’s noise blares all throughout this lonely forest. My heart raced as the monster jumped out of its hiding spot. I hurried as I jumped out of the bushes, racing hastily towards the pit. The monster squashed the beetle. I shuddered at the sight of its juice—green in color spread in all directions. I overcame the disgust and charge towards the monster.

Ghost is sitting beside me, and I can feel his eyes drilling a hole into my head. “Who the fuck is Harmon?” He growls but I don’t say anything. How do I even begin to explain that we’re hunting a monster that makes me want to crawl into a cave and never come out again?

Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

It seems like any moment my body will give up because of the bad things that I'm facing. I stopped looking at my wound when I suddenly felt my stomach churning due to hunger. It's my second day here but I haven't eaten yet. I know I'm the only one to blame because I don't accept the food he gives me. The monster man spat out from the door carrying a plate containing bacon, eggs, hotdogs and fried rice. I felt my stomach churn even more when I saw and smelled what he cooked.
