Right then, Rosa arrived with a new pair. “Here, Luna,” she offered with a smile. I exhaled and sighed back. Finally a face I wanted to see. “Rosa, what should we do this evening?” I asked. “I've made arrangements for you to go stargazing,” the Alpha answered. I kept my eyes straight on Rosa with my face still expectant. She blinked cluelessly. Then she looked to the Alpha and back at me. “Ehm... We could go stargazing, my Luna,” she answered.

"Come. Sit." I sat. She looked at me the way she always did, like she could see straight through whatever face I had decided to wear tonight. "How was the ceremony?" she asked. "Wonderful," I said. "Very glamorous. Very expensive. Very not us. Elder Mara wore her good robes. The ones without the gravy stain. So you know it was a special occasion." My mother's mouth curved. "And?" "And Victoria Hale is going to be Luna." I kept my voice light. "The whole pack is very excited. Someone released actual flower petals into the air Mama. With their hands. Like they had nothing better to do with them."

I told him as he plated my food. "Forever and always, my Luna." he smiles and hands my plate to me. We sat together eating our food, learning more about each other and flirting as we gave each other bites. The rest of the night went great as we cuddled into each other, sharing stories and laughing. Our bonds are starting to fuse tighter, like two pieces of metal being welded into one..I know the Moon Goddess above has blessed me, I have found the love only she could grant. We stayed in each others arms til sleep took us both into the night.

It was already past midnight. The club was alive with neon lights, booming music, and the unmistakable energy of a drunk and drug-induced crowd. Luna found herself laughing, caught up in the infectious excitement as Lisa twirled on the dance floor with a cocktail in hand. “This is insane!” Lisa shouted over the music, her eyes gleaming.
