I wanted to tell her that I didn't even feel like a Luna, but the words caught in my throat. She stepped away from the mirror, and I was faced once again with my reflection. But this time, she was not wearing that scared look—she had a deep frown on her face that spoke of revenge. Marcel thought he was trapping me, but he didn't see it. Once the ceremony was done, I would be his forever, and there would be no turning back. I couldn't let it happen. I knew the order of the night events that would happen under the full moon, starting from the exchange of oaths to the blood binding. I would be pronounced Luna and thereafter spend the night with Marcel.

When we arrived at the conference room, all the council members were already there, including my parents and Natasha. After a few minutes of pleasantries, my father gave me the chance to introduce Lauren as the new Luna in our pack. "Good evening, everyone! I'm glad that we're gathering here tonight for this important session. Tonight, my son will finally introduce his mate and the future Luna of our pack," my father said, gesturing for me to start my speech.

No magic.” Luna chuckled darkly. “You’re scared of a little magic?” He leaned in, his voice a low promise. “I want to feel your strength, not your spells.” “Then you’ll feel everything I am,” she said. --- Night fell, and the stronghold gathered around the fighting pit, a sunken arena of stone surrounded by torches. The air was thick with anticipation, the scent of sweat, dirt, and primal excitement. Luna stepped into the pit, shedding her cloak, leaving her in a black leather top and fitted pants that hugged her body like a second skin. Her hair was braided back, her eyes stormy with promise.

I will never do that. “Hey bro” Alora greets as she kisses my cheeks. “Hey cupcake, how are you doing?” “I’m okay, how was work today?” “Exciting, got a new case at hand” “Cool, you can tell me all about it over dinner.” “Okay, where’s Luna?” I ask searching around. “Uh… she’s not at home” She answers and I look at her with a creased bow. “What do, you mean by that?” “She went over to Ace’s house to spend the night.

The siren song, echoing through the walls, chilling my bones. "Luna!" I shouted, racing down the hallway, panic gripping me like icy claws. Finn's voice came frantic from one of the rooms. "Mom!" I burst through the bedroom door, stumbling to a halt at the sight before me. Luna lay on the bed, tiny body shaking violently, her long hair spread like dark silk over the pillow. Her eyes were wide open—glowing softly with a faint, eerie blue-green light—and the song spilling from her lips was ancient, heartbreaking, powerful. She was convulsing, her small fingers clenched tight in the sheets.

So, even after dinner, they did not finish asking Shiki who enjoyed answering their questions. Because of the long, interesting interview of the guys to Shiki about Luna, all the men were sleepy the next day for lacking sleep as they didn’t notice the time when they were conversing. Even Yuhan, who always seemed to be very quiet, miraculously listened to the story, so in the end, he is also sleepy. LUNA, on the other hand, was also awake all night. She was on the roof with her eyes focused on the round and bright moon. She could not stop thinking about all that had happened in her life.

She pauses, and makes eye contact with Jolene, “No matter what you can never tell a soul who I really am. When the time comes, I will make myself known, but until then it has to stay hushed.” Jolene nods in agreement but asks, “So now what do we do?” Luna smiles, “We go to the river and wait for nighttime to come. When the moon shows itself in the river and the grass lights up from the moon, we will have a meeting with the goddess. I will ask them for help and we will go from there.” Luna turns up the music and starts to dance. Jolene is filled with so much excitement that she joins in. She just happily stares out the window. Her mind runs wild.

The kids were abuzz with chatter, asking all sorts of questions. “Emily! Elizabeth! Don’t smother my daughter!” A woman with tanned skin and flowing black hair chuckled. So that was the previous Luna of the Lunar Lake pack. She was so beautiful, and the children all immediately flocked back to her. “So, who do we have here?”

The Luna whispered into Jack's ear, “I am sorry my daughter, I have to go and when the time comes, you must carry out your duty, I know you won't understand what I am saying but when the time comes, everything would make sense, I love you.” The Luna kissed Jack on her forehead and whispered, “my sweet daughter, now go to sleep and i'll see you tomorrow” whilst Luna gave a small smile along with tears that's forcing it's way out. The Luna whispered some sort of spell, making the child fall asleep in her arms whilst tears overflowed her cheeks. Not just that, little Jack's memory of what happened at that moment was wiped out. A young worker stood in the doorway, flushed from running down the hall. “Message for the Athena wing,” he announced breathlessly. “From the Luna.” My heart kicked painfully. Waters stood. Clearway straightened. The worker read from the slip in his hand: “The Luna requests the presence of all pack members, servants, attendants, and slaves in the central hall at midday. An urgent address.” Silence fell. Thea’s breath caught. Clearway’s brows knit. “Urgent?” Waters exchanged a worried glance with her. “The Luna never calls full-house gatherings unless… unless something serious is happening.”
