“You look like you’ll fall over if the wind sneezes. You can cry in the kitchen. At least there you’ll have something to hold on to.” Luna let herself be steered away from the circle, away from the watching eyes, away from the moonlight that now felt more like accusation than blessing. As she crossed the treeline, the bond between her and Orion tugged, a final, sharp pang—as if protesting her retreat. She didn’t look back. In the small hours of the night, when the pack had finally gone quiet and the moon had climbed high, Luna lay curled on her side in her narrow bed, the thin blanket twisted around her legs.

Gush! The moon was full, the calm breeze flashed into my face. I took slow steps into the quiet place. The gentle sound of night insects pierced the air. I saw a fireplace. I walked to the place and sat. My eyes fell on the phones and headset on the floor. I knew someone must be here. But I didn’t mind. I sat down beside the flames and enjoyed the warmth it made me feel. A calm song “Lonely” by Justin Bieber was blaring from the stranger's phone. I sat there and enjoyed the moment.

Smiling Mason laughed, "How can I possibly be the host of the evening without my hostess?" "Hostess?" Danica squeaked out as Mason reached an arm around her waist. "Yup," Smiling he began leading her into the crowd. As they passed group after group of people Danica couldn't help but feel people's questioning gazes on her. Of course they would be curious after all she was cuddled up to their Alpha. She pursed the corner of her lips and said with a slight blush, "Good night …" That night, her hands pulled Wills Watson along, listening to the voice of nature, sleeping soundly.
