The door swung open with a sudden clack.
Night stood in the doorway, his expression unreadable, but his eyes laser-focused—first on Sky, then on Aron. His jaw tightened slightly.
“It’s time for dinner,” Night said in a clipped tone. “We need to put our microphones on.”
The sudden shift in mood was sharp enough to cut the air.
Aron, who had been halfway through a flirtatious grin, blinked and sat up straighter. “O-Okay. We’ll come down in a bit.”
