The Lycan's Human Mate

The Lycan's Human Mate

“Wait for me here, I will just get my bag and possibly a coat that matches yours so we are a twin for today” I shake my head at her, giggling. I watched her disappear inside her house before turning my attention to the area. My attention shifted to the residents of the town, who have a physical appearance that is practically solid or toned. They are each going about their own business, some watering and tending to their plants, others tidying their yard, and some simply walking by in both casual and formal attire. I inhale deeply as I tap my feet on the ground while tucking my hands into my coat.

Bound By Blood And Vows.

Bound By Blood And Vows.

“We’re just going for a walk. Not war.” Domonic didn’t move. But he didn’t stop me either. Good. I stepped around him, Conner following, his hand gently pressing to the small of my back as we moved down the ramp and onto solid land. The town was exactly what I needed. Dusty brick alleys lined with cafés and locals sweeping doorsteps. Small stores cluttered with trinkets and handmade goods. It was all afternoon sunlight and salt air and the smell of grilled fish wafting from the docks. We wandered for hours. I found a tiny glass charm shaped like a fox and picked it up, turning it between my fingers. “I like it,” I said without thought.

Her protector indebted to the mafia boss

Her protector indebted to the mafia boss

I laugh “and don won’t know. Let’s go eat, then we figure out what to do about this situation.” I offer my hand and she takes it, her hand feeling small and delicate, and we make our way out of the cabin into the crisp night air. The town is small, with only a few streets and a handful of shops and restaurants. We walk in comfortable silence, the only sound being the crunch of gravel beneath our feet. As we stroll through the town, I can’t help but feel free, even if I know it’s only for a while. But being with Tiffany, even in this strange and dangerous situation, feels right.

 NELLIE AND NAOMI

NELLIE AND NAOMI

A Quiet City Stroll After lunch, they went out for a short walk through the narrow streets of the old town. The alleys were tight, their stones warm with memories that stretched back centuries. Small cafés exhaled the scent of roasted coffee, and soft music drifted from gift shops, mingling with the murmurs of passersby. Adel held Naomi’s hand the entire way— not out of habit, but as if afraid to lose a moment that brought him closer to her again. She stopped in front of a small shop displaying silver rings. She picked up a delicate one, studied it for a long moment, then set it back gently.

Longing For My Ex-Wife

Longing For My Ex-Wife

“Hey, want to go somewhere today?“ Maya nodded. “I’d love that.” They ended up driving to a small town just outside the city. It had a quiet charm to it—stone paths, colorful little shops, trees lining the streets. They walked slowly, side by side, stopping to admire hand-painted signs and flower pots hanging from windowsills. Maya’s laughter filled the air when Elias tried on a silly-looking hat in one of the shops. “You should buy it,” she said, giggling. He looked at himself in the mirror. “Only if you promise to walk next to me while I wear it.”

House of Lycans (After Dark)

House of Lycans (After Dark)

The streets of Hallow Grove, a quaint little town with charming cottages and colorful gardens, were quiet and still. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of dew-kissed flowers. Alexa, dressed in a knitted sweater and jeans, steps out of her front porch, her straw hat resting gently on her head to shield her from the piercing rays of sunlight. She took in a lungful of the refreshing morning air, her eyes sparkling with anticipation as she walked briskly down the empty street, her footsteps echoing softly.

Betrayed by the Alpha

Betrayed by the Alpha

“Your heartbeat skips whenever you lie. It just did again.” I slow down and turn to him. “I don’t know how life is at the city side where you’re from, but in this small town, people talk and women gossip. If I am spotted walking with you, an alpha, I’d be the song of the town for a very long time.”

A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

The kind of place where people lingered over coffee and pastries, not the sleek, minimalist coffee chains I frequented in Manhattan. The scenery changed as I drove, with skyscrapers giving way to suburbs and then the charming small-town aesthetic of Connecticut. Maple-lined streets, white picket fences, and the American dream packaged and tied with a bow. I slowed as I entered the town, following the GPS directions. Main Street looked like something from a Hallmark movie, with quaint storefronts, American flags, and people actually nodding to each other as they passed on the sidewalk. "Turn right onto Maple Street," the GPS instructed.

Claimed

Claimed

Dad says, slightly embarrassed by the thoughts of my old friends. After breakfast, I head into town, walking along the sidewalks. Dad’s house is only a couple of blocks from downtown, and I feel like I need it. The air is crisp and smells fresh compared to the city. Walking along, I see that none of the houses have changed. The whole town feels like it has been stuck in a bubble that preserves everything perfectly. No one changed the color of the house or even the designs of the yards. People here were happy with what they had and had no plans to change that. When you are born into wealth, I guess things like change are not something that you are worried about with your home or town.

On The Border

On The Border

I asked curiously. He shrugged and said simply “We can go back the way we came from and call it a walk. A pretty short one at that. It’s called a town if you didn’t know, it’s not exactly very big, to have many options of where we’d like to take a walk through” I sighed and walked ahead past him, I felt him falling in step easily next to me and I didn’t miss the distance he eliminated between us, the one I was trying to establish from the start.
