I watch his left hand. The watch sits heavy on his wrist, and I see now that it is not merely too large. It is a man's watch made for a larger man, and Domenico wears it because it was Lorenzo's, and Lorenzo is dead, and the watch keeps ticking anyway. I wonder if he winds it. I wonder if it still tells the right time.
"The men who killed your brother," I say carefully. "Do you believe they are still inside the organization?"
