A Tale Of Two Cities Novels & Stories

If only this could last forever. We flew above the forest for a short time to the east, and eventually, he landed on the roof of a glorious, gothic estate. It was pitch black. Ivy climbing its walls. Different statues and gargoyles gave the sense that they were watching you, the intruder. Several wolves were on the territory, howling in what I assumed was a welcome for the master. On all over it appeared sinister, haunted, it sends chills down my spine. He let go of me and I instantly fell on my knees. And he just walked away.

There was a catastrophe inside of him, yet his eyes were dry, looking at nowhere. ********* The sun wasn’t even there to witness the union that was bound to happen. The massive grey clouds were lingering in the sky, covering the earth’s surface, making it gloomier than it was supposed to be. “Even the heavens above believed that it’s the beginning of the end.” Alaric let out a paradox. I turned to look at him, before asking again, "Do you think that my admission should be retracted, too?" Horace's gaze flickered between me and the medical report, before it settled on Vivian. "Do you want to go to Paris?" Vivian nodded lightly. "That's my dream, Horace." "Alright." Their voices were low, and none of the surrounding onlookers heard it within all the ruckus, but I did. And my heart sank.

With my breathe coming in ragged gaps, I frantically scanned the environment for an escape route. Just as all hope seemed to be lost, I saw it - a narrow opening between two massive trees, without hesitation I launched forward. But instead of freedom, I found myself in the confines of a large trap net. I struggled to catch my breath as the wolf's snarling jaws closed up, few inches from my face.
