Maximiliano wanted it to be held in the privacy of his home with only two witnesses, two days after the Christmas party, specifically on December twenty-sixth, so on the morning of the twenty-fourth she watched the white dress hanging on a hook and placed on the handle of one of the upper doors of her closet.

I eagerly unzip the bag it is in, waiting to see the looks on their faces when they see the monstrosity I picked out. But it is my face that holds shock, because this isn't the dress I tried on yesterday. "What? Where is my dress?" I hold up the now sexy lace thing that had a bodice. "Oh, sorry. But the dress you choose got ruined somehow." I glare at the woman, knowing that she is lying. "I don't want this, this is not the dress I want to get married in." Fuck. What was I thinking? My wedding? I was supposed to get married? What a joke! He'd bought a Vera Wang custom-made wedding dress in a size 6.
