Vows Of Hate

Vows Of Hate

"Where is my wife?" "She isn't your wife anymore " Jake said, slowly walking down the steps. The metal poker scraped against the marble. "You threw her away. I saw you do it. I was there on the highway, Dante. I saw her shivering in the dirt because of you. You can't come here. Claim her now."

To Be A Duchess

To Be A Duchess

“Look, Miss, as much as I want to grant your request I---“ The man started but was cut off when his wife entered the premises. By what she was holding, she might be coming from the kitchen. The wife had a gentle smile on her face as she walked closer to her husband and to me. She holds that casserole with cute mittens on her hands, the steam still trying to escape from the lid, and the smell was so inviting that I want to have a taste. It was so flagrantly tasty, and the smell was familiar to me. “Come on Eustace, let the girl go. I am sure that she is very worried for her friend.” The wife spoke with a high pitched voice, but it was soothing and not infuriating at all. the wife even winked

Can't Tame Me

Can't Tame Me

"Vampires also swing their pheromones everywhere like that! " My wife got screwed by one of her bloodsuckers! Twenty years of marriage, two children and she is crossed out with one of her sharp teeth, overnight! After so long, no one will make me believe that she left of her own free will! We can't do anything, nature hasn't given us the right weapons... A few minutes pass before I dare speak again. "Your wife... do you have any news about her?" " She's dead... That damn bloodsucker went too far with her. I learned it when the conciliation brigade came to the house for compensation. As if money could replace my little Laure..."

Seven Days of Goodbye

Seven Days of Goodbye

Brian barked into the phone, "Scam! My wife's here in Ferovia. How the hell could she be dead? Keep this crap up and I'll sue you when I'm back in Carmoria!" The voice snapped back, sharper now. "Are you really Shiloh Quinn's husband? "Seven days ago, during the bus crash, your wife went back into the fire multiple times to pull children out. On the last run, the explosion hit. She went over the cliff.

The Wife He Used as a Scapegoat

The Wife He Used as a Scapegoat

"I didn't... let them... touch you..." "Nathan! Keep your eyes on me!" I scream, leaning over him, my tears falling directly onto his pale, blood-spattered forehead. "Look at me! Don't close your eyes!" Miller grabs my arm from behind, trying to pull me up. "Ms. Hart, we have to clear the area! The sirens are coming, but we have to move him now!" "Help him!" I shriek, turning my face toward the guard, completely unraveled, my hands buried deep in my husband's blood. "Help him right now!" Nathan’s eyes roll back, his head falling limply to the side against the cold, filthy floor of the warehouse, completely still.

The Wife's Reckoning

The Wife's Reckoning

> "I'm the cold, detached wife. I'm the emotionally unavailable physician who spent more time in the trauma bays than in her own home. I was entirely too focused on my own career advancement to notice a lonely, neglected husband." Thelma looked utterly crushed. The absolute silence that followed was all the confirmation I required. I nodded slowly, the pieces of the puzzle locking into perfect alignment. The script practically wrote itself. The highly successful, unyielding female doctor; the busy, neglectful mother; the tragic, cast-aside husband who simply fell into the arms of a warm, supportive young woman. You could almost hear the whispers spreading through the manicured lawns of River

Wife's Vanishing Act

Wife's Vanishing Act

As soon as the words left Ross's mouth, Hilary froze like an ice sculpture. Seeing her like that, I couldn't help but smile. I lifted my hand, gently twisting the diamond ring on my finger. "Yes, but my wife and daughter are both dead." Ross looked up sharply, visibly stunned. My parents turned to me with sympathetic eyes. I went on, "Three years ago, my wife and daughter were burned to ash in a fire." I let my gaze linger on Hilary. Her face turned ghostly pale in an instant.

The Wife He Threw Away

The Wife He Threw Away

“You’re crossing a line.” Nathaniel held my gaze. For a moment neither of us spoke. Then I said, deliberately, “Don’t say my wife’s name.” I warned. The word wife came out automatically, as if she was still mine. As if we weren’t in the middle of a very messy, very public divorce. Nathaniel noticed, and somehow that seemed to irritate him even more. “Your wife,” he repeated, “was treated like an inconvenience in her own home.” “That is not your problem.”

Katie Tutor
Author I'm really enjoying your story. I apologize for my bluntness with the reader who uses letters instead of actual words but I'm 'old school' where you say it up front and don't beat around the bush. I believe not using words but a bunch of nonsensical letters is rude and insulting !

Her husband's wife

Her husband's wife

“You can't stay here forever. Running away from a problem won't solve the problem. If you don't embrace it no one is capable of doing it for you, no one would do it for you and that's why you have to go back home. They must be looking for you by now.” “I don't think I can handle it anymore.” She cried slowly. Mrs. Martin shifted close to her, she patted her back tenderly. “Of course, you can. You can handle it if you tell yourself another story. No matter what, you're still his wife and I can't let you stay here until you can finally decide when you want to leave. I'll love to have you here but you're Mr. Sullivan's wife, I can't risk it. I'll call your mum and tell her you're here.”
