“Kapan pulang, Mas?” “Apa aku harus menjawab pertanyaanmu itu??” Kalau boleh memilih takdir, aku ingin hidup sederhana saja asalkan setiap hari bisa bertemu dengan suami. Namun, penyesalan memang selalu datang terlambat. Mas Ares tidak akan pernah bisa pulang karena aku bukanlah rumahnya.

“Min, kalau di rumah tolong pakaiannya lebih sopan, ya. Di rumah kan ada Bapak sama mas Gema, kurang pantas kalau kamu pakai baju seperti itu," ujarku menegur Mina, asisten rumah tangga yang baru bekerja di rumahku dua bulan belakangan. Tidak bisa di pungkiri, tubuh ARTku itu memang padat berisi, sehingga menonjolkan beberapa bagian tubuhnya yang membuat mata laki-laki akan langsung menatap takjub pada kemolekannya. Tapi sebenarnya hal itu bisa diakali kalau saja Mina mengenakan baju yang lebih longgar dan sopan.  Disinilah awal mula kehancuran rumah tanggaku terjadi.

Riri dan Lili adalah saudara kembar identik. Hanya saja tubuh sang adik mengalami masalah kesehatan. Sehingga kedua orang tua lebih memprioritaskan Lili di atas segalanya. Hal itu yang membuat si bungsu menjadi egois dan merebut apapun yang dimiliki si sulung. Riri senantiasa sendirian dan kesepian. Puncak penderitaan yang harus dialami adalah ketika dia dipaksa menikah dengan Ansel, adik ipar sekaligus teman dan cinta pertama. Semua itu hanya untuk mempertahankan rumah tangga Ansel dan Lili. Lantaran Lili tidak bisa hamil.

She couldn't even bring herself to ask anything. Using Violet's distraction, Kian grabbed her right arm and moved her away from the cliff. Then he placed a crystal in her right hand, “Go. The crystal will show you the way out ” She hesitated, “B-but—” She was interrupted by Kian's innocent peck on her lips, “I promise, you won't be hurt.” “Didn't you say that was a way of sealing promises between outsiders?” Violet's lips trembled and her hands, unevenly. Why was he acting so weird? He was blind. How could he kiss her? How could he.. She was slowly losing her mind. “Get going then. We'll definitely meet again when fate joins us together.” he smiled making 's heart beat loudly in guilt. ‘I'm sorry’ she thought as she turned to leave.

“Ayoo bangun, Sayangku,” Angga mencoba lagi, kali ini mencubit hidungku gemas. Aku membuka mata sedikit, memohon. “Mas, aku masih capek dan lemas banget. Kamu duluan aja.” Angga tertawa pelan, tawa yang membuatku ingin meninjunya sekaligus menciumnya. “Loh, kan seharusnya yang kecapekan itu aku, sayang?” godanya, matanya penuh ejekan jenaka. Mataku langsung terbuka lebar. Aku mendorong pelan wajahnya. “Enak saja kamu, ya, kalau ngomong!” Angga tertawa puas. Ia mencium bibirku singkat, sebuah sentuhan pagi yang membuat jantungku berdesir. “Yasudah, kamu tidur lagi sebentar. Aku mandi duluan, Muachhh…” Setelah mandi, kami berdua berdiri berdampingan. Keintiman semalam mengubah segalanya. Gerakan sholat Subuh kami terasa lebih sakral, diimami oleh pria yang telah memeluk jiwaku dan ragaku. Selesai berdoa, aku langsung ingin merebahkan diri lagi. Rasa lelah itu sungguh nyata. Namun, Angga menahan lenganku. “Kamu mau ke mana, Sayang?” tanyanya lembut, tangannya masih memegang tasbih. “Aku mau tidur lagi, Mas. Masih capek dan ngantuk banget,” jawabku dengan mata sayu, tanpa malu mengakui kelemahanku. Angga tersenyum teduh. “Sini, kamu tidur di sini saja. Temani aku berdzikir.” Ia menepuk pahanya yang kini tertutup sarung, mengisyaratkan tempat peristirahatan. Aku menurut. Aku merebahkan diri di pangkuannya, wangi sabun dan parfumnya menyelimutiku. Aku menutup mata, dan suaraku Angga yang merdu melantunkan dzikir menjadi ninabobo paling menenangkan. Angga menatapku yang terlelap, mukena masih menutupi kepalaku, dan damai di wajahku. Hatinya melunak, dipenuhi gelombang emosi yang tak pernah ia rasakan bersama Angel. Angel selalu sulit diajak sholat, selalu menuntut, selalu membuat drama. Putri berbeda. Dia penurut, sederhana, dan kecantikannya bukan hanya di luar, tetapi di dalam hatinya. Angga menarik napas dalam. Ya Allah, terima kasih Engkau telah menjadikan dia sebagai Istriku. Aku sungguh benar-benar mencintainya, batin Angga, sebuah pengakuan yang melegakan sekaligus menakutkan. Semoga dia adalah istri yang bisa membantuku untuk ke surga/Mu nanti, Ya Allah. Aamiin. Aku terlahir tak diharapkan, hingga akhirnya aku tersisih. Langkah kakiku gontai dalam pelarian ke Ibu Kota, tanpa sanak tanpa saudara.
