Gulliver Travels Audiobook Novels & Stories

Are you ready? Of course you are. Who wouldn’t be? Right then, let’s begin. Here’s a biographic book review that I can read out to you for my lecture. It’s a bit of a boring piece, but it’s perfect for this exercise. This is a story about a young man who wanted to travel the world and experience everything at least once before he died. His name was Magellan. He lived a few hundred years before our time and it was this ambition of his that opened up the two hemispheres of the world to each other. Ah, did I see you yawn already. Perfect! Time to take off something... let’s start with these shoes. Ah, how liberating. Oh, look at my little toes... perfectly manicured and polished with glossy red

For the sake of everything good and pure I refuse to repeat his next words but they were enough to get us scrambling out of bed and get the door open. "Your father and the generals are waiting for you so you might want to fix that bed head, not many of us want to know that you're busy screwing around when the end of doors is right at our doorstep." A tired haggard looking Gulliver says "You're welcome by the way, took two bloody sleepless nights to brew the fucking potion, you've played sleeping beauty long enough I think it's my turn now." He let out a big yawn and without and without any further glances at us began to slow march down to his bed chambers.

He continued toward the bus, climbing the stairs, leaving Ellie to stare after him in surprise. Ellie climbed back on the bus, avoiding Jake's gaze and finding her seat in the last row. She pulled out her chips, opened the bag, and put her headphones back in. Her mood hadn't improved much so she found a new classic audiobook. Ah, yes, there it was, Dickens always had a dreary narrative to fit her mood, a perfect fit following her upsetting realization that she would quite literally never escape the world of wolves. She turned the book on and stared out the window:

THE WHISPER That night, I lay alone in the cell. Mom and the others were upstairs, negotiating or arguing. I could hear the vibrations of their footsteps through the deck plates. I closed my eyes. I tried to sleep. But the ship was loud. Not the engines. The people. There were four hundred sailors on the Goliath. And the Architect was talking to all of them. It wasn't the loud broadcast of the Hive Mind. It was the whisper Leo had heard in the rain. ...he is dangerous... ...he is not human...

Like it’s mocking my entire life. “You seen a crazy asshole run past here?” I ask it. A short, nasal, high-pitched MEE-EH! Not helpful. Gull doesn’t speak Twin. And I don’t speak Gull. I glance down at two sea lions asleep on the dock like they’ve never known a single shred of trauma. Fuck, what I wouldn’t give to live their stress-free, fish-smelling lives. Since Jackson broke his phone, I try Axel’s. Voicemail. Naturally.

The metal didn't budge. "Hang on, Prophet." "Do not worry about me," Guller said. "Focus on the—" He stopped. A sound echoed over the comms. It was a soft, wet footstep. Auditory texture: squelching, irregular, dragging. "Guller?" I asked. I watched the audio waveform on my datapad spike into a chaotic, jagged pattern. "Do you have a visual?" "Shadows," Guller whispered. I felt the fear in his voice as a cold knot in my own stomach.

Ellie… Ellie… Like a voice calling her home. She froze. “Dad?” The voice faded, like it had never been there. Then another sound, distant, muffled: the scrape of chalk against a board. The low hum of lecture hall voices. Dr. Voss’s calm, measured tone: You must see the Labyrinth for what it is, not what it shows you. Ellie pressed a hand to her forehead. “It’s in my head.” Cerebus stiffened, growling into the shadows. But the growl wasn’t steady. Alpha turned left, snapping at nothing. Beta whined, torn between directions. Gamma barked, lunging forward, straining against air.

And no doubt, have hot dreams about it. It’s another book suggestion from her. I’ve just finished the last one she recommended, and honestly, I shouldn’t dive into another. Once I start reading, I lose myself completely. But this time, she’s telling me to listen to it. Audiobook. That’s new. Before I even realize what I’m doing, I click the link she sent, and in a matter of seconds, the book is purchased and playing through my home speakers. I settle back in bed, letting the narrator’s deep voice wash over me, and within moments, I realize Lucy’s sent me a stalker romance. Great.

I wasn’t even sure if he’d gotten everything settled with his frat brothers when he drove me to the airport in the morning. I tried to let those thoughts fade away while on my flight home. I put in my earbuds and decided to listen to one of the smutty werewolf audio books Hana has gotten me hooked on, Alpha Gray by CJ Primer, with Theo and Maddie as narrators. The book is HOT, and Theo’s voice… yeah, it makes for an enjoyable two-and-a-half-hour flight. I love how he changes his voice when speaking for each Alpha. Hana told me they’ve done the narration for the rest of the series, and I can’t wait to listen.

“Gulliver’s Travels. I haven't read it since I was ten and I miss it. What about you?” “I am actually looki…” I paused as a high pitched voice cut through the silence. “No wait, listen to this part,” the girl giggled, breathlessly. “He looked at me like a predator deciding which piece to tear off first, biting his lip as he squeezed himself through his pants. ‘Get on your knees,’ he ordered harshly as he began rubbing the thick bulge of his coc…” “Gianna!” Another female voice cut in, and multiple voices began giggling quietly.
