THE EVIL FOREST

THE EVIL FOREST

So she blew smoke in his eyes and Abednego's spiritual eyes flung open. She opened the gate in the spirit so that he could proceed to the so called place, where there could be creatures. When he entered, the spirit of Matendechere approached him holding something in her arms, something swaddled in a blue blanket. She introduced her to what she called her ‘Okunani,’ a baby bat that had wandered onto the grounds seeking transformation of human kind, a magic bat that will conceal Abednego and camouflage him from the creatures.

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

He tells me and I nod, waiting for him to continue. “There is a story, passed down through the generations of witches, about the first witch, Aadhya. She was the most powerful being in creation and is said to be the mother of all beings. It his her ancient magic that led to the evolution of dragons, and her heartbreak that created werewolves. The story says that the Blessed Mother and the Moon Goddess are sister deities, they worked together to breathe life into Aadhya and gave her magic so she could protect the earth and those who would in habit it.” He stops to draw a deep breath and feels for something in his pocket. He doesn’t remove the object, only reassures himself that it is still th

Absolutely amazing! I loved both books! The main story arc is very impressive. I love that I can feel the emotions of the characters as I read these books. The best part about this book is how interconnected the characters are to one another. I would definitely recommend both books!!

This book (and the first as well) is awesome!! The author really takes time to develop her characters and story and follows through with all the different story arcs and twists and turns! But, what is the third book in this trilogy?? Am I missing something, or is it not published yet?

The Accidental Werewolf

The Accidental Werewolf

“Not this again. You have tried three times. It is time to let it go. The babies keep dying, and how many pieces of yourself can you give away before you are nothing but a shell?” “Not this one. This one is perfect.” “It’s time to admit that soulmates are a gift from your Goddess to the werewolves and that vampires will never--” Abbadon hit the table so hard that it broke in half. He stared at me, his eyes burning brightly in the dark. I sometimes thought he had a bit of wolf in him, he was created by their Moon Goddess after all, but unlike the wolves, she made him from nothing, using a piece of her own soul – just like God used a part of Adam to create Eve.

I had a hard time liking the FL's sarcasm/strong opinions in the first chapters, but she grew on me as I continued reading. The writing is good, and so are the descriptions. Hardly any grammatical errors, and the pacing is fine. Great job author!

Is this book done? I hope there is more, it’s a great book!! I know I shouldn’t but I kind of feel bad that abbadon died. I can’t say he’s a good guy for sure but I kind of feel sorry for him in a way. He did seem to love her in his own way

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

' My heart was pounding. "How are you going to bring Aubade back?" Midas asked, ignorantly at that. But Aza's was entertained by Midas' ignorance. "The Loa will help me," she said to him. "I have one spirit in mind that would gladly help me." **

A Queen Among Gods

A Queen Among Gods

I snap in a snarky tone. “Fair point, I shall continue to refill your glass then.” “Thank you,” I say as I take another sip, then take another deep breath as my foot taps anxiously against the footrest of my stool. “So, this new God…” “His name is Azadou. God of Malice also known as the Demon God, and the creator of the eyti,” they explain, walking over and placing a plate in front of me along with a fork, but despite the dish looking absolutely delicious, the thought of food entering my stomach right now makes me want to hurl.

Choosing The Alpha King

Choosing The Alpha King

And I forgot to mention that Babel is a place that believes in many gods, like Agni, the god of fire, following Hinduism, the ancient religion, Vayu, the god of wind, and many more, including Ra, the god of the sun. But for them, the gods are not beings to pray to. They are seen as administrators, creators higher than humans, with the 'permission' to use their powers to control their elements. Imagine a god of fire dwelling in a higher dimension, commanding authority over all fire energy in the universe. Below him are creatures such as dragons, fire salamanders, fire fairies, and fire spirits, all serving as his minions with similar control over fire. "And tell me, my friend," the king conti

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Nicholas had walked further a little, she would have found Ada who curled herself into a dark corner crying. Ada was not a demon child, neither was she possessed by legions on demons, she was just an innocent child born with a rare supernatural ability into an ignorant family and she had no idea how to control it. Ada was not the first, there are places all over Africa where children have been tagged witches or wizards and have been subjected to death, ostracization or abandonment where they are left in the streets to die off, a few lucky ones have been fortunate to fall into the hands of people who cared while others weren’t so lucky.

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

“There’s another one, then?” “From the ancient texts of Elyfan Mythology, there are two trees of origin in which the Adentus had created …” Luna paused as she took a sip on her tea, “They called it the Tree of Genesis and the Tree of Exodus a long time ago … but we now refer ours as the Tree of Genia. The demons, on the other hand, worship the Tree of Exodia. Some people believed that there is the third tree of origin in the heavens … they would call it the Tree of Skya, since there are only three Adentus that existed before Earthos was created.”

Claiming Her (#3 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

Jay said through gritted teeth. He couldn't believe Ezekiel chose Abbadon among all the Queens of the Underworld. Abbadon was the worst amongst them all. She was the destroyer of countless worlds. Her power was unparallel to the point that not even the Underworld could stand her presence. That was why the Moon Goddess imprisoned Abbadon in the lowest and worst part of the Underworld to contain her power.

He sighed, as if expelling something from his body. "Apologize, En Kara. We hold great value in our faith to Abuwa that we get agitated by the simplest question. Abuwa was the moon goddess, the giver, and the greatest steward of all creation. We follow her words, worship her name, and honor her deeds." his voice now reverts to a calm timbre. I nod, "She seem that great of a woman," was all I manage to say and drank from my cup.
