Abigail Roberts Rdr2 Novels & Stories

Maya slid in first, and Abigail followed, her hands steady even though her chest wasn’t. As the driver pulled away, Maya exhaled loudly. “Well. That was something.” Abigail kept her gaze on the passing streets, her fingers tightening slightly in her lap. “Yes,” she said quietly. Maya glanced at her, her brow furrowing slightly, but she didn’t push. She simply rested her hand lightly on Abigail’s arm. “Whatever game he’s playing, don’t let him rattle you.” Abigail drew in a slow breath, her eyes soft but determined. “I won’t.”

Abigail asked the driver. "Aren't you attending the anniversary party?" the driver inquired. "Sir Edward sent you here..." "I'm not feeling well. Besides, I don't think I'll get a chance to talk to him because he'll be busy. I’ll be back shortly," Abigail replied, stepping out of the car. Lucas watched her as she approached Roen. Once she handed the documents to Roen, he drove off, leaving Abigail standing there, baffled. "Hey!" Abigail exclaimed as her car disappeared. She couldn't believe what the driver had just done. Didn't she make herself clear? She sighed deeply in exasperation.

Aidan fell to the ground on his butt and groaned. “Dad, hurry up.” Robert focused to untie her hand and finally, Abigail's right hand was free. Aidan quickly got up and reached out to pick up the gun, but Robert kicked his hand. The gun flew away and fell to the ground a little away from them. Meanwhile, Abigail tried to untie her other hand. Aidan rushed to pick up the gun, but Robert was also not ready to give up. He grabbed his waist from behind and tried to stop him.

Shock adorns their faces upon noticing Abigail’s outfit. Contrary to the business suit and formal dresses everyone is wearing, including Chairman Cartagena, Abigail Marie is wearing a pair of denim shorts and an oversized cardigan paired with white sneakers. A typical teenager wears. But Abigail is no longer a teenager and she is inside the F&D building. She was so out of place. Her outfit became everyone's nightmare and horrified eyes darted to the respectable men composing the Steel entourage. Breaths are held while they all wait for the Steel couple’s reaction, especially coming from the starchy Dr. Amara Rechner-Steel. ****tbc****

She wanted the ground to swallow her whole. She grabbed her bag and bolted back toward the main courtyard, her heart pounding like a war drum. No one stopped her. No one said a word in her defense. She found a bench near the east fountain, wrapped around carved stone and the water no longer ran. She sat down, trying to breathe. To be invisible. Then came the click of heels. She looked up. It was the girl who first called her human. Abigail. She is a vampire. She has blade-sharp cheekbones and colder eyes than Kael's. Her red hair glinted like fire in the dying sunlight, and she moved like she was born to be worshiped and feared.

Like Camille, for most of Bo's life, Abigail has been nothing short of controlling her daughter, and it only got worse when a druid woman told Abigail that her daughter would have a hand in breaking the Galdina curse. Watching the Galdina bloodline crumble was Abigail's life's goal, and hearing that her daughter would be an obstacle to that goal bothered her. It didn't matter if the girl did not inherit her healer abilities. Abigail kept her close. So close that it became suffocating. But despite everything, Hecate granted Bo a mate—a werewolf Alpha. Convinced that even the gods were plotting against her, Abigail threw her ultimatum. It was either her or some random man.

She was young and, even though we were both female, she staggered a bit. "Ms. Starland," Dr. Abbott began, rising from his desk; a gentleman. "It's so good to see you again." He acted like he hadn't seen me in a while. This must be important. "Likewise," I said, smiling. "And please, call me Abigail." He didn't shake my hand. "Do you mind?" Dr. Abbott pulled a digital scanner from inside his desk. "Not at all," I replied, smiling sweetly, then held out my hand. Any other human would have been dazzled, but he was unmoved, all business.

I frowned at that. "Abbygail. What are you getting into?" Kayla asked this time, glaring at her. My frown deepened. And I gasped. Is she Abbygail Park and not Arabella Park? "You, you're Abbygail Park and not Arabella Park?" I voiced out, surprised. "Sorry, Mr. Kim. I forgot to tell you that my boss is Abbygail Park." Mrs. Arevalo said, smiling. Oh, thank god I finally found her. I can finally fulfill my mother's last wish.

I almost cursed into the phone but I held my breath as I heard a female voice. “Evening Harmony, this is Rhonda from the hiring site, we were able to contact Mr. Ichabod and we are happy to announce that he will be resuming tomorrow, is that okay?” “Oh yea, thanks Rhonda.” “Good, please don’t forget to rate and leave a review on our site. Have a great night.” The call ended just as Vivian entered. “Who is Ichabod?” I stood up and frowned, surprised she had heard what transpired and then I realized my phone was on a loudspeaker.

Abigail is standing there with two coffees in each hand. “Oh my gosh! You are my angel!” I say throwing the door open and taking the cup she holds out to me. “What are you doing here?” She raises a brow at me. “I wanted to see for myself that you are back safe. Also I’m here to help Mr. Rhodes with the next phase of restructuring.” “Oh okay. Well, I’ll let him know and he can meet you down stairs in a few.” “Great! See you later.”
