The lead guardian stepped backward immediately. Fear filled his silver eyes. "The prison is broken." Nobody argued. Because everyone could see it. The massive fissure splitting the sanctuary had become a bottomless abyss. No light escaped from its depths. No sound. Only that impossible darkness. The Void King was rising. Slowly. Inevitably. The Sovereign of Oblivion's expression hardened. "We need to move." The Hollow Sovereign stared into the abyss. For once, his ancient arrogance was completely gone. "He remembers us already."

I echoed. Fenrir nodded, his expression darkening with a gravity that made the amethyst sky seem to dim. "It is a plane older than the gods themselves. It is the primordial silence that existed before the first star was breathed into life. It is not made of shadow—shadow requires light to exist. The Void is simply… nothing. It is the hunger that exists beneath all things, waiting for the fabric of reality to fray."

Black, darker than a shadow and deeper than the abysmal void in the center of the capital of hell, poured out of the vault behind me, devouring the hallway. Not a scrap of anything left behind but more of its blackness. Void Beast. A pure being of dark energy created out of the death of a fallen star. It's what became of angels when they fell and didn't have Lucifer to guide them back into some semblance of themselves. And this one was hungry.

Everyone knows the saying, "When you stare into the Abyss, The Abyss Stares Back." Many know about phenomena about Black Magic, Hauntings, Disappearances that have a Chill to it and if you search into it something sinister follows you. My Question is, What is THE ABYSS? Is it another Dimension of Horrors? Or a Realm of Mystery that intersects ours on a regular basis? Or is it a Life Form of many Forms who is trapped in an In-Between State or was Banished from Our Realm because it didn't want to co-exist with new life and just wanted to eat and destroy and feed off of Fear?

Shadows surged around them, tendrils lashing out like whips, attempting to drag them into the void. Suddenly, the floor beneath Jago and Dante didn't just soften; it became liquid. A Void-Whirlpool opened, swirling with the same light-eating blackness that filled Silas’s eyes. It wasn't water; it was raw, unrefined gravity. Jago let out a roar of defiance, his "Lead-Plated" boots clattering as he tried to find purchase, but he was being sucked toward the center of the vortex.
