After Everything

After Everything

May as well live through the characters in the books. After a couple hours of reading. I get up throw on a simple matching brown sweat set. Grab my bag, hitting the kitchen up for a plain muffin and apple for breakfast. Setting off, for my first day. I hit up the local Coffeehouse ‘Glazes Coffee Co’. Out of the 17 coffee shops on campus this one was hands down my favourite. Tucked behind the Psychology building. It’s perfect, playing the same music I have coursing through my AirPods with the best atmosphere for studying and catching up and don’t get my started on their ham and cheese croissant it’s heaven in a box, literally. I would marry it, if I could.

Falling For The Wrong Billionaire Brother

Falling For The Wrong Billionaire Brother

I set a special notification tone so I could know when her text came through. Diana: The medical defense for the health department class got shifted today…there is no information yet on when it’s supposed to hold. “Yesss!” I whisper-shout, my elbow banging the table a little too hard from excitement. I wasn’t even mentally prepared for that defense—my brain is absolutely not in defending mode today. This medical school is… honestly, just an extremely expensive way to go clinically insane while pretending I’m saving lives. I spill a little coffee but savor the croissant—this café has got to be the best in town… everything about it is just so good.

My Professor is A Mafia

My Professor is A Mafia

“Because the universe hates us, clearly. But seriously, Ava you’ve got this. Final year! We should be planning epic graduation parties, not pining after unavailable professors.” Mia nodded enthusiastically, pulling out her phone to show us a café menu. “Exactly. Let’s go to The Roasted Bean right now. My treat. We can talk about real things like what we’re doing after graduation. I’m thinking grad school, but I’m also terrified.” We migrated to the café, claiming our favorite corner table by the window. The smell of fresh coffee and pastries wrapped around us like a hug. For the first time in days, it felt normal.

She Ditched Her Scumbag Husband After Her Amnesia

She Ditched Her Scumbag Husband After Her Amnesia

The snooping girls whispered among themselves: "Who's that lady? She's gorgeous. Think she's Mr. Colt's girl?" "Definitely not! Mr. Colt's a bachelor. They're probably just friends," one student whispered to another. "Looks like they've got serious stuff to chat about. Come on, let's bounce. No need to pry into teacher's biz like some nosy parkers." With a bit of jostling, the two students moved on. Just off Greenville University's campus, nestled along the roadside, was a cozy café. Helma sipped on her mocha while Shirag sat empty-handed.

The Toxic Marriage

The Toxic Marriage

“So what’s going on with those two?” Alec asked Kathleen, taking a sip from the hot coffee as he enjoyed the little break he got from the office. “I don’t know honestly,” Kathleen responded with a sigh, Alec had sent a driver to pick up Kathleen so that he could enjoy the break with her. This café was Alec’s favorite; it wasn’t a fancy one but a very cozy little café with a library theme.

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

"What are you doing here?" "Making your coffee," I said simply, forcing a smile. "Grande caramel macchiato, extra foam?" She nodded mutely, clearly uncomfortable. Word had spread quickly that the disgraced professor was working at the campus coffee shop. Some students avoided the place entirely now. Others came specifically to gawk at my fall from grace. I didn't care. This job kept me close to campus, close to Maya. That was all that mattered.

A Deal with the Devil

A Deal with the Devil

Such a fun chapter!! Chapter 11 - Colton Hastings doesn't get jealous. ~~~ Café Day was a small coffee and cupcake shop that sold reasonable yet extremely delicious creamy and unhealthy food. It was exactly what anyone would need on a hot Sunday morning. Starbucks was just a few blocks away from it, still, Café Day was never short of customers. The majority of students preferred Café Day due to its not-so-soaring-the-sky rates. Plus they rarely wrote the names on the cups wrong.

Totally enjoyed this book! Love the bickering of the main leads and the friendships amongst the group. Minor errors but does not affect the general feel of the book. Glad I decided to read this. Keep up the good work! ...

I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh and cry. Appreciate the connection with that was shared between the friends and family. I also enjoyed the way the author tied in the crime / mystery into the book.

Crossroads Café

Crossroads Café

The second the hot beverage hit her tongue, she couldn’t refrain herself and spit it all out. Old Al’ and Mat waves of laughter resonated in the café while Bianca was trying to get her composure back. « Ohlala what is that ? » she had now teary eyes and the sourness was killing her. Old Al’ gave her a glass of water « This is what people here call cow piss… » « Excuse me! I like to call it the sorcerer’s coffee grounds » said half vexed Mat. « I can make you another one, it might be good… we never really know. »

Oh my what a beautifully refreshing book! I laughed so much! I completely fell in love with Bianca and Magnus! They are super cute one is serious and stoic and the other fun and fiesty. Perfectly suited for each other! I always love reading about strong women and their equally strong men.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book! I have read so many books that are so full of fluff just to keep the reader hooked for the real story, but this book is fantastic and every chapter is relevant. You’ll run through a roller coaster of real emotions and still want more. Definitely worth it!

Daddy’s Girl [ Her Mother's Husband]

Daddy’s Girl [ Her Mother's Husband]

He reads it almost immediately like he has been waiting for me to message him, I see the three little blinking icons that indicates when the other person is typing and I push the door open, the smell of fresh pastries hit my nose and my belly grumbles hungrily. I look down at the text from Benjamin, "On my way!" It reads. I look up to find a booth. The interior of the cafe is cozy, it is almost like a walk-in bakery but the owner changed his name halfway and decided it would be a coffee shop too. The nude coloured booths match the wood floor, the soft lightings accentuates everything. The space is huge but made to feel intimate somehow. There are a couple of people, most are students with ea
