The moment I crossed the threshold, the rich, roasted aroma of espresso enveloped me, but the sudden blast of the building’s air conditioning made me shiver violently against the damp heat I’d brought in from the street. The cafe was a sprawling, split-level space. To the left, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves formed a cozy library nook where customers were quietly flipping through novels. The rest of the floor was a chaotic symphony of clinking ceramic, grinding beans, and the loud, overlapping chatter of students and young professionals unwinding from their midday shifts.

The cafe was located at a street close to her precint. As Detective Sophia entered the cafe, she noticed the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The sound of a soft jazz tune playing in the background created a cozy ambiance. The cafe was dimly lit, with small, circular tables scattered throughout the room. The walls were decorated with rustic wooden panels, giving the cafe a vintage feel. A large chalkboard hung behind the counter, displaying the different types of coffee and snacks available. A few people were sitting at the tables, chatting and sipping their drinks, while others were typing away on their laptops.

After discussing the plan for the project with Jayden,we decided to meet next week so I could go and see the land acres. I decided to hold onto Erica's coffee invitation, mainly because we had alot of things to talk about and secondly I was also very hungry. I didn't have anything in the morning. Elena's POV Unexpected Best Friend. It's the third day of college school, and my love for coffee hasn't wavered one bit. I'm a bona fide coffee addict, which probably explains why I work part-time at Relax Coffee shop. Today, like any other day, I couldn't resist the temptation of my usual hot cup of coffee. I mean, who can resist that delicious taste and the inviting aroma that fills the air?

I was already in my nightclothes, so I just threw on an oversized jacket before I headed to the Cafe. The Cafe on the fourth floor was actually just a stem of the library, it was a place where books and food were allowed in case people get hungry. There was quite a lot of 3rd and 4th years that were also studying. There was a group of law majors from Iota and there was also a small group from doctoring. Of course, there were also other houses, but I was not familiar with them and their courses. The only group I knew that was not from Iota was Ceasar's group.

SSHS 194 The giggles from the fourth year student can be heard echoing through the cafe. This time she wanted things to be smooth between her and her hot Contrero. Coffee Chat Café had a nice ambience. It looked fancy but according to Heidi, prices were affordable. She locked her car and walked to the café. Pamela, Heidi’s cousin owned it. They went to the same university but Pamela was one year ahead of them. There was also a small group of people loitering outside the café as well, and after standing at the window and looking out into the street, Emmet thought that he would be able to extrapolate what he had seen to figure out Lila’s general customer schedule. The people who entered the cafe, were easily clumped into groups. The day began with a hustle of university aged students and their professors, moving in groups and talking loudly, rushing about and stumbling as if they were exhausted. Soon after them, there was a steady stream of men who came in, wearing all the same white shirts and only separated by the colours of their ties and the colours of their blazers.

"Selena, focus. Jacob has been asking you something," Sofia reprimanded, nudging my elbow gently as we walked down the corridor of Building B. I jolted, nearly dropping the rolled-up sketch paper in my arms. "Oh, right. Sorry, Jacob. What was that?" Jacob let out a soft laugh, adjusting the strap of his canvas bag. "I asked what kind of coffee you want later this afternoon. We're still going to the cafe across from campus after this class, right? It's my treat, a welcome gesture for the new student."
