It's a cold morning in Monterrey, the kind of morning that makes you crave a hot cup of coffee and I never say no to a coffee craving. So on my way to school, I branched to café Alma, a coffee shop just across from my school; Toppings Medical Academy. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee permeates the air as I step into my favorite coffee shop. The familiar sight of Fred behind the counter brings a smile to my lips, his warm greeting a comforting start to my day.

Gavin smiled happily as he pulled out and drove out of the parking lot. “The café we are going is a big tradition for this town. Everyone knows of it and you cant leave town without at least having a coffee from there. They have special office meeting spaces upstairs so the crowd wont bother us.” Gavin spoke highly of Mama Chika's Café. “I have never heard of it.” Asrar spoke the truth. He was a multi million dollar restaurant company that stretched from one end of the world to the other. He has never heard of this small café. Well to be fair he didn’t care for the cafe's he has come across. They where there own thing in the restaurant world where he was a full sports bar, family orientated

I hurried out of the dining room. A week after. I forced myself to wake up earlier than my normal waking time. Last night my mom asked me to keep an eye on ‘Lover’s Café’ at Sports Lover’s Arena in Wellington in the province of Maxvilla. It was an exclusive club made for basketball players and enthusiasts. According to my mom, her assistant at Lover’s Cafe located in Tres Cruses near the exclusive school at Harvard College University has resigned. So my mom had no choice but to be busy finding her new assistant.

May as well live through the characters in the books. After a couple hours of reading. I get up throw on a simple matching brown sweat set. Grab my bag, hitting the kitchen up for a plain muffin and apple for breakfast. Setting off, for my first day. I hit up the local Coffeehouse ‘Glazes Coffee Co’. Out of the 17 coffee shops on campus this one was hands down my favourite. Tucked behind the Psychology building. It’s perfect, playing the same music I have coursing through my AirPods with the best atmosphere for studying and catching up and don’t get my started on their ham and cheese croissant it’s heaven in a box, literally. I would marry it, if I could.

“Because the universe hates us, clearly. But seriously, Ava you’ve got this. Final year! We should be planning epic graduation parties, not pining after unavailable professors.” Mia nodded enthusiastically, pulling out her phone to show us a café menu. “Exactly. Let’s go to The Roasted Bean right now. My treat. We can talk about real things like what we’re doing after graduation. I’m thinking grad school, but I’m also terrified.” We migrated to the café, claiming our favorite corner table by the window. The smell of fresh coffee and pastries wrapped around us like a hug. For the first time in days, it felt normal.

The snooping girls whispered among themselves: "Who's that lady? She's gorgeous. Think she's Mr. Colt's girl?" "Definitely not! Mr. Colt's a bachelor. They're probably just friends," one student whispered to another. "Looks like they've got serious stuff to chat about. Come on, let's bounce. No need to pry into teacher's biz like some nosy parkers." With a bit of jostling, the two students moved on. Just off Greenville University's campus, nestled along the roadside, was a cozy café. Helma sipped on her mocha while Shirag sat empty-handed.

“So what’s going on with those two?” Alec asked Kathleen, taking a sip from the hot coffee as he enjoyed the little break he got from the office. “I don’t know honestly,” Kathleen responded with a sigh, Alec had sent a driver to pick up Kathleen so that he could enjoy the break with her. This café was Alec’s favorite; it wasn’t a fancy one but a very cozy little café with a library theme.

Richard and Lia decided to meet at Le Café Magnifique, a highly acclaimed luxurious coffee shop in a charming city corner. The moment they stepped inside, they were greeted with an air of refined elegance that permeated the entire space. The café's exterior exuded a classic charm, with large windows adorned with intricate wrought-iron designs, allowing glimpses of the warm glow inside.

"What are you doing here?" "Making your coffee," I said simply, forcing a smile. "Grande caramel macchiato, extra foam?" She nodded mutely, clearly uncomfortable. Word had spread quickly that the disgraced professor was working at the campus coffee shop. Some students avoided the place entirely now. Others came specifically to gawk at my fall from grace. I didn't care. This job kept me close to campus, close to Maya. That was all that mattered.

It was exactly what anyone would need on a hot Sunday morning. Starbucks was just a few blocks away from it, still, Café Day was never short of customers. The majority of students preferred Café Day due to its not-so-soaring-the-sky rates. Plus they rarely wrote the names on the cups wrong.
