Conscious Conscience

Conscious Conscience

"W-what in the hell are those?" These monsters were Parademons. Undead Shadow Monsters that often served as irregularities in many of the highest-difficulty A-tier Quest were sprouting out like it's normal now. "Demons!!" "It’s the Parademons!!" * * * I tried to stand-up, using my sword as some kind of crutch to hold myself upwards. I cracked a few bones but it's steadily regenerating. "Looks like I underestimated you… I get it, I'm nowhere near my strength."

Hiding His Baby: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

Hiding His Baby: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

That's why he kissed her and it actually worked. "What are you asking him? Ask me! I will tell you! You looked like an absolute monster with your long nails and dangerous canines. You had a dark shadow and smokey figure around you. And you were all set to kill me. Do you understand now? No normal person could be like that, unless it's a monster. Take my advice and stay away from Dominic and Ace. I am afraid that you will change into a monster again and the next morning we will find Ace's little body beside you." Stacey shouted in a rude tone and the only reason she was having this audacity is because Dominic was there. Otherwise she wouldn't have dared to mess with Athena again. "I…I… no… no

Unable to get to Chapter 124, along with others per the comments. The overview of the book lists 159 Chapters and "Ongoing" status. Please release the following chapters for your readers and I to enjoy. Thank you and have a nice day.

Really keeps you interested, and has minimal grammar errors. But it would be better if there was 1 to 2 paragraphs of the writers comments at the end of every chapter along with the last paragraph of every chapter being the first paragraph. Feeling a little cheated on chapters because of that.

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

I realized. “Mhm. Caraway and I scouted this morning, and there’s a… thing,” he made pincher movements with his fingers as if that enlightened me at all as to the nature of the monster. “To the east. So, we’ll head that way. It’s a big one, but not as big as some,” he added. “And Tarragon wants to practice killing monsters whilst in human form, so it’s a good one for her to practice on…” “Oh, Val,” I pressed my hands to my stomach, ill with unease. “I don’t feel good about her doing that.”

Monsters Among Us

Monsters Among Us

Connor spoke in a low voice as if he expected someone to hear him. Pete had a nice smile and warm inviting eyes but when it came down to it he was a monster of the worst kind, Glory had a weak smile on her face as she looked to the house then the car that rested alone in the driveway. Like a sleeping beast dead to the world but with a simple touch could be rumbling in seconds. There were plenty of times that they wished for nothing more than to run away but they knew no matter how far they ran they would find them. “What would be the point? They are monsters but they are monsters that own us the moment we try to make a run for it we will be dead there are more of them than they are of us.” G

The Return of the War Legate

Juan continued, "Aside from that, we've managed to get in touch with Drogoton and Novemton." "What's their situation?" "Sir Draco just left Drogoton this morning in search of a man called Crutcher. Drogoton also encountered a new species of monsters they’re calling minotaurs. These creatures’ bodies are as hot as lava, and bullets are ineffective against them. Drogoton is currently using large amounts of concrete and rebars to expand its walls. They told us to prepare ourselves to go up against these monsters. That's what I’m here about."

The Shewolf's Twin Alien Mates

The Shewolf's Twin Alien Mates

They were probably confident no one could ever escape or survive this place. We climbed up a stone staircase, moving quickly and silently. I was holding the Xenodermus babies we had rescued. We only stopped when we saw light ahead, and the exit from the arena. There, we saw a group of wounded Tarragons battling a huge monster—it looked like a centipede, but more vicious, with spikes along its back. Its many legs were sharp, and its head was massive with enormous, jagged teeth. Vestaria looked at me. “What’s the plan?” she asked. I smiled. I handed the Xenodermus babies to one of the others we had freed. My claws extended, surprising them, and I knew my eyes were glowing.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

"Victor was a monster, but he was a human monster. He wanted money, power, and his father’s approval. But these 'Architects of the Void'... their code is different. It’s cold. It doesn't have a signature. It doesn't have an ego." Julian sat on the edge of the desk, his presence grounding me. "That’s because they aren't a family, Elara. They’re a conglomerate. The logs show that Victor was just their 'Biological Lead.' Now that he’s in a Swiss cell, they’ve moved on to the next phase: Sequence 9."

Search for the Three Drops of Blood

Search for the Three Drops of Blood

Shortly afterwards, they lastly found what they’d been looking for. Evania and Sumico saw a young lady, about the same age with them. The young lady was seen squatting down on the floor, with all her fear, anxiety, panic and frustration. Meanwhile, in front of the young lady, they saw a big, tall, blue monster, with his two long pointed horns, his two sharp canine teeth, and his dark red eyes. The big, tall, blue monster was seen fighting against four scorpion demons which were showing their true forms in four gigantic scorpions.

The monster's fated prey

The monster's fated prey

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

CHASING MONSTERS

CHASING MONSTERS

“After the last hunter incursion, nobody’s dumb enough to try again.” “Double it,” Xavier ordered. “I want every patrol twice over.” “Where do we attack?” Sophie asked. “We can’t fight ghosts.” Amara, her dark eyes shadowed beneath her hood, stepped forward. “We’ve seen movement in the swamps. An old hag hiding a power that’s truly dark. If we’re right, it will be ghosts we’re fighting.” “That’s the first place we look,” Fintan agreed, his voice like gravel. “All signs point there.”
