Lost City at Sea

Lost City at Sea

Ishida introduced himself to the aged man. “What business do you have here? We never invited you here!” the hunchback yelled furiously. “We’re searching for the Great Sea City of Ajens, sir. I apologize for being an uninvited guest, but my plane was heavily damaged and I had to make a forced landing.” “Ajens? Did you say Ajens?” the old woman asked, cupping her hand on her left ear. “Yes ma’am,” Ishida replied. “Oh come on, Nina! It’s all nonsense,” the old hunchback moaned. “Don’t mind her. She’s half deaf.”

The Island of the Silence

The Island of the Silence

The sea died under the cliffs. They had come out on the old coast road — perhaps eight hundred meters from the bridge. And right away, Mara felt it. Pulling in her chest. The bridge. There was Jonas. But there was also the second Mara. At the bottom of the beach, shapes moved through the water. People. Dozens. They ran slowly into the sea. Quiet. Like sleepwalkers. Lena stared down. “What the hell...” Eva answered tonlos: “She calls the mourning.”

What the Sea Could Not Keep

What the Sea Could Not Keep

Robert Blackwell promised to marry me, then postponed it thirty-eight times. The fifth time, a car crash broke eight of his ribs, and I signed seven critical-condition notices. The tenth time, on the way to get our marriage license, he and the car were thrown into the sea, and his suit was torn apart by sharks. By the thirty-eighth time, his heart disease had worsened and his life was hanging by a thread. Eight months pregnant, I changed flights three times and flew twenty-three hours across half the world to find him. When the door opened, a little boy who looked exactly like him lifted his face and said, "I thought Mom was back." Robert rushed out barefoot, panic written all over his

Seaside Pictures

Seaside Pictures

"She's only eighteen, Linc! Stop teaching her shit she shouldn't know." "Oh right, because out of all the Hollywood people she knows, I'm the bad influence?" His eyebrows rose while Dani coughed and pointed at me. "PLEASE!" I yelled. "I'm the least offensive out of all of you! Alec and Demetri were drug addicts, they could have been tried for homicide!" A while ago they had come to Seaside Oregon to get away from the press. What was supposed to be a short vacation had ended up making Seaside the new Hollywood hot spot. They married local girls, became even more famous, Jaymeson followed out of pure curiosity and married the pastor's daughter! See, another scandal! And Dani had nearly died in

Love Across The Divide

Love Across The Divide

"Sarah!" Sarah turned at my loud voice, "I suggest you let this go. I won't have you disrespecting me by questioning my choice. Is that understood?" She rolled her eyes and walked out of the room with a sulk. Jane snickered into her palm, "Brat," "Watch it Jane," Lock walked into the room with a sullen expression. "what's wrong with queen of the coast? I just passed her by and she looks salty," "We are discussing my choices. What's up Lock?"

Twice You

Twice You

The decision to cross the North Sea is Declan’s. After Claire is taken to the safe house, the old house becomes strangely quiet. We can no longer trust normal land or air routes. Richard has proven more than once that he’s tracking movements. “We’re going by boat,” Declan announces during the morning meeting. “Across the North Sea. Straight to the east coast of Scotland. Less exposure. Less chance of being picked up by cameras or radars he controls.” Harvey agrees immediately.

said Amar. Axelina was surprised by Amar's sweet treatment to her. Axelina without speaking directly climbed on Amar's back. Amar, who felt that Axelina had climbed, stood up and started walking while carrying Axelina. “We'll make love in the middle of the sea,” said Amar. “You pervert. Your mind is not far away from the crotch and big chest,” said Axelina. “I've never tried to make love in the middle of the sea. Maybe the sensation is different,” said Amar.

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

"No matter how you look, Dad, I'll always love you." Brad frowned. "That doesn't make me feel better, Nora." When they got to the living room, Doris and Max were already waiting along with a bowl of popcorn, settling on the coffee table ready to be eaten. Everyone glowed with a jovial smile as they exchanged pleasantries. When they were all finally settled, Nora connected her iPad to the TV and started the movie. "The title of the movie we're about to watch is "Across The Stars". I checked out the trailer and it seemed pretty cool," Nora announced with enthusiasm.

Allie
The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.
