Big enough to take them anywhere they wanted to go and with enough fire power to defend itself against pretty much anything out there, should anyone be stupid enough to attack the Prince of Werewolves, royal heir to the throne—who was now her husband. It was so surreal she couldn’t wrap her mind around it. When she tried, everything in her head seemed to shut down, so she packed it all away and decided to think about it later. She’d gotten used to doing it all alone. Her eyes moved slowly across the beach. That’s when she noticed—Claire wasn’t there. She scanned the party again. “Maybe it’s good to have a challenge once in a while.” Eros murmurs, making me feel his warm breath on my face. His hand rises to my throat, where he grips with a bit of force, forcing me to meet his eyes. I breathe slowly as he stays serious, then he pulls away, goes to the door, and when he opens it, I see a female my size, with wavy blonde hair, dark red eyes, crimson lips like blood, pale skin. Dressed in a navy-blue gown down to the floor. “Pleasure to meet you, Nina. I’m Marian, cousin to this stubborn one here.”

According to Vincent's investigation, Ikaya had met this man few times. For what? Lucien took a comfortable position on the chair. Miranda, on the other hand, slapped the maid beside her and asked for new food when Mariano butted it. “Just put some salt into that. We can’t waste any food, Miranda.” Mariano said. Miranda, as a loyal and obedient wife, frowned but didn’t say anything else as she knew why they needed to save resources. Their moods weren’t very pleasant since earlier anyways. The truth is, Miranda’s food isn’t that Bland for her to make a scene. She just needed someone to release her anger. But it seems that her husband isn’t up for brutal scenes and violent remarks since if there is one person who has the foulest mood, it’s Mariano.

She moved completely out from behind the door and walked to the fireplace. “On the day I die, this picture of you will still be burned on my brain.” He handed her a glass. “Drink up, wild woman. I can’t wait to see you in action.” Marian took a sip of the cool liquid. “You’re overdressed for the occasion, my love.” She put down the glass and undid his tie. Then she started on the buttons to his shirt. When they were all undone, she pushed his shirt and jacket off.
