I Gave Them Freedom

I Gave Them Freedom

"As for me, I'll have other children eventually, too." After that, I walked to the couch to pick up my purse before leaving. Behind me, Nigel was cheering happily as Charlie's cold voice came to me, "Ida, are you sure you want to leave? Today is the last time you'll see Nigel. I will never let you see him again, even if you kneel and beg me in the future." Those words would have been cruel to any mother, but I no longer cared. I simply stopped and said something Charlie never expected. "Then I wish the three of you to form a perfect, happy family. I hope that you can celebrate like this every year."

The billionaire's secret vows

The billionaire's secret vows

Sophia and Adrian slipped away from the main festivities, choosing instead the intimacy of a quiet corner beneath a sprawling oak tree. Sophia’s heart pounded as she looked up at the star-studded sky, each twinkling light a reminder of the dreams they were ready to chase. “Adrian, do you ever wonder if we’re truly free?” she asked, her voice barely audible over the gentle rustling of leaves. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. “I do,” he admitted. “Freedom isn’t just about escaping the past or the noise of the world—it’s about embracing the future with all its uncertainties. And with you, I feel free to be who I truly am.”

Am I Free?

Am I Free?

A shiver runs down his spine due to the chilly wind that passes by him. “Come let’s go back.” She holds the umbrella over his head and smiles at him softly. He shakes his head no and starts walking ahead of her leaving her behind. “Okay don't come with me but let me help you get to your destination Daniel.” She stands where he left her. Daniel stops and slowly turns to her and stares at her silently. “Go to her, sort your life and be free from whatever you are running away from.” She starts walking towards him. “Why are you helping me? I don’t deserve it. I’m a killer, a monster. Please just let me be and go, I have done enough damage already.” He looks away from her biting his lower lip to

Beyond the Family's Shadow

Beyond the Family's Shadow

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the golden afterglow stretched their shadows long, until they merged into one, indistinguishable from each other. This scene was more eternal than any painting Elara could ever create. Its name: "Freedom and Love." (The End)

I really loved how this book started strong and is ending strong. That’s rare these days. There’s so much similarities in creations these day. It gets so boring. Thank you author. This was a good book overall.

Freed

Freed

I lifted up my hands to try something out until Cassius cut my actions off. “It’s…” Cassius started, but Elijah finished his remarks. “Destroyed…” I felt a cool breeze behind me and whipped around to find a smirking Rhyland and Queen Fara. “Told you I’d be right... behind... you.” His words stumbled over each other as his eyes took in the new land in front of us. The beautiful flags they had spoken about dangled loosely from the flagpoles with rips and tears covering them. Buildings were broken down and looked abandoned with green moss covering them like a blanket of art.
