CHAPTER 6: WEDDING

Morning came quick and Tara woke up early as always, she got ready and stayed in her room. The maids came in but without breakfast

“ My lady, we're going to help you move to the already prepared room in the castle for you to get ready ” one maid spoke

Tara scoffed, so today because I'm leaving they're going to invite me to their cursed castle so I can prepare. I bet they're embarrassed that the groom's side will come to see me living in poor conditions.

“ Okay, lead the way ” she replied

They took her inside the castle and to one of the rooms, the room was pretty. The maids put her luggages down, she only had 2 luggages and they were all filled with the new clothes she was given yesterday and some things she found in the room which she considered they must have been important for Tara. She was brought breakfast and then she wash even washed today by maids even when she declined the offer . She was left alone, when the door was knocked

“ Yes come in ” Tara responded

Three different girls came in and their skins looked pale than humans, Tara was alarmed who are they. She stood up and stared at them, ready to push and run if they tried to attack her.

" My lady" they all spoke in unison as they bowed with respect to her and Tara raised her eyebrow shocked as to what's happening. The maids in the castle have never bowed to her,

“ I am Marry, this is Lala and Gina. We're from Vampiria and from today we are your personal maids, we pledge royalty to you my lady ” Marry introduced and then they all bowed when they pledged royalty to Tara

“ umh,.. hi, welcome. You don't need to bow come on get up ” Tara didn't feel comfortable although she was happy for the respect but not comfortable

“ it's a sign of respect and we respect you a lot, please let use respect you and serve you ” Lala spoke and her face was filled with nothing but honesty and all the other girls had the same expression

“ okay, but just don't bow a lot you will have back problems ” Tara responded with a smile

“ Don't worry my lady,.. We're going to explain a few things about Vampiria as we wait for midnight so the wedding can take place " Marry explained

” Midnight? Why midnight?“ Tara was surprised

” Because it's the auspicious time for us Vampires, when the moon is shining bright and that's when we receive blessings “ Gina explained softly

” AHH okay“ Tara nodded

” Come on now sit down while we explain to you about Vampiria,“ Marry suggested and Tara sat down

Inside a big hallway, King Gabriel, his ministers and chancellors say on one side and on the other side was Prince Xavier, few ministers and chancellors. They were finalising the agreement, which was the most important thing here. After finishing the agreement signing, the ministers and chancellors of Vampiria left first and Xavier with his soldiers stay back for the wedding and they will leave after the wedding is done.

Back in Tara's room, she was listening well to the girls who were busy teaching her few things about Vampiria. Like how the vampires aren't allowed to drink from the human's neck unless the human agrees, there are special human who give out their blood to the royal family from time to time. Meaning that only the royal family can feed from the human's neck but only from those human selected to be feeders for the royal family. Also that Xavier has three brothers who are mean and nasty, also each prince has their own castle, own space and army within the royal residence. Also about how the rumours of Xavier being cursed is a lie, they also told her that sometimes the king would call his family for breakfast at the king's palace. They told her about the kindness of the prince, how he helps people in secret.

Midnight had arrived and the maids were preparing Tara, they came with the wedding dress. A white dress embroidered with red stones which Tara had recognised them as ruby minerals which had a white veil, they tied her red hair into a beautiful bun, applied a simple makeup and beautiful white shoes. She looked beautiful and lovely, she didn't even recognise herself in the mirror.

” my lady you are beautiful, you're a goddess “ Gina praised

” I must say I've never met a beautiful woman like you my lady “ Marry added

Tara was blushing hard, these girls were praising her a lot. ” come on guys that's you much, “

” No they're saying the truth, you're beautiful “ It was Lala who cemented the praises

Tara was taken to the backyard and the wedding was due to start, she walked slowly towards the priest and her soon to be husband. When she reached there she raised her head and saw the most handsome man she has ever seen not that she had seen many, but even the men in her previous life couldn't compare to this man Infront of her. Is he a reincarnation of the God for beauty? She asked herself as she stared at the man who was pale , had white hair, blue eyes, and his face was well sculptured. she was brought back from her stareland by his deep voice .

” Princess Tara, listen to the priest “ Xavier whispered in her ear, Tara came back and started listening to the priest. Xavier smiled after seeing how she was staring at him, she wasn't scared like how other people acted and this girl was beautiful and strange and that attracted him a lot especially her green eyes.

The wedding took place fast and under the moonlight they were pronounced as husband and wife. They left fast not even waiting for any second, their convoy had only three carriages. One was with few soldiers at the front, the middle carriage had Tara and the Xavier and the last carriage had the maids and luggages. Also there were soldiers on horses on the front and back and sides too,
