Adriana Durst Novels & Stories

Sariyu and Adrian exchanged glances, and then she smiled once more and leaned toward Adrian and said in a low voice, “I’m starting to see why you fell for her. She’s a keeper.” Adrian faintly smiled. “What about you? Did you find anyone to your liking?” “No. All the men I find interest in are interested in others. It’s like I’m suffering retribution from all the wrong things my brother has done.” “Don’t lose hope. I’m sure there’s someone waiting for you.” “I hope so.” Elena didn’t quite understand what they were talking about. “Anyway,” Adrian stood between them and said, “this is Sariyu Shamus. A board member of Draknor Finance.”

Adriana sat at her sleek office desk, her red nails tapping against her laptop keyboard. The screen glowed with fake financial documents—transactions, emails, and spreadsheets all carefully crafted to ruin Leon. She smirked as she clicked *send*, leaking the files to every major news outlet. By morning, the world would believe Leon had stolen millions from his own company. Just like old times, she thought. --- Five Years Earlier Adriana opened her diary, the leather cover soft under her fingers. She wrote in bold, slanted letters:

"Yes. I already told you about her. That Tristan, Alicia, Cyrene and I have been friends since we were kids and that she is my sister." Suddenly, a blurry image attacked my head making me feel dizzy. Two people are talking and I could barely hear them talk. It was us. Cyrus and I. We indeed talked about his relationship with the rest. And she was here last night, Tristan and that guy. "Are you alright?" He asked, concerned. I nodded my head yes. "By the way, who was that guy Tristan and Cyrene were with last night?" He turned to look at me and smiled. "His name is Andy, the guy I told you about at the company. He just didn't make it that day since I asked him to do something for me."

Before they drove away, Linda rolled down the car window and cast a lingering gaze upon me, whispering words that eluded my ears. As their car vanished from sight, I remained rooted to the spot, attempting to fathom the bewildering turn of events that had just unfolded. Just as I was about to make my way to my own car, Drake materialized before me, sporting a mischievous grin. "Ah, I see you have a new Luna. I imagine she must be quite beautiful." Seizing his shirt collar, I forcefully brought him closer, my voice resonating with a fierce growl. "Sierra belongs to me, Drake. Don't you dare come near her."

Chloe said. Her voice made Adrianna, who was playing with her phone while grumbling, quickly turn around. She smiled upon seeing Chloe and Peni in the living room. She hurriedly approached Chloe and promptly grabbed her friend's hand. "What are you doing, Chloe?" Adrianna asked, exasperated. "What do you mean?" Chloe needed clarification. "You let that snake come to this house?" Adrianna felt like shaking Chloe's head and untangling the mess that had settled there. "Ester, Sa. Ester. Your husband's mistress," Adrianna said firmly, staring at Chloe with an unreadable expression.

For one dizzying second, the rest of the world disappeared, there was only the scent of pine and earth on his skin and the rapid thud of my own heart. Then he noticed the stares. Adrian’s hands dropped away. He took a deliberate step back, putting careful distance between us, his expression cooling into something neutral and alpha-like. Without another word, he turned and walked away. I exhaled shakily. On the far side of the building overlooking the field, a woman stood watching us. Her elegant features were twisted with clear displeasure. She glared for a long moment before spinning on her heel and storming back inside the building, her movements sharp with anger.

After a moment, she smiled warmly and introduced herself. “Hi, Director Robert. I’m Adriana Carter, 23 years old, from the Film Department of the University of California.” “Everett already filled me in on your details.” I cast a brief look at Everett Robinson, who was still quietly watching the world outside the window, smoking now and then, clearly not engaged in the conversation. I knew who he was really watching. Clearing my throat, I turned back to Adriana. “Why don’t we sit and talk more?”

I gritted my teeth. “Spill,” I grunted angrily, frowning when I saw him smile in my direction. “Your lady bee, Adriana, is really at Lux’s. She’s been kept hostage because Lux believes that she’s his most demanded stripper and that his business fell as soon as she left.” Nate answered, with his eyes still locked on mine. I shook my head at the outrageousness of it all. It was appalling that a man in his right senses would try to force a job role on someone who obviously didn’t want to work for him anymore.

Duke Oliver got his eye widened as His daughter mentioned Adriana Jelina can’t make it to become a Maiden. That is very shocking to hear, after all, Adriana Jelina were known as a prodigy and a sought after prospect in the Aeternum Royal University, even to the public, she is a well famous icon, not just as her role as the Student Body President, but also as the Daughter of Aeternum First Governor and a philanthropist.

At that moment… “War Legate Draco?” Adrian suddenly heard a voice calling out to him—a woman’s voice. Slightly surprised, Adrian turned around and saw a woman in a long dress standing not far from him. She was looking at him with a huge smile on her face. He was instantly able to recognize her as Sarah Walsh, the famous singer. Slightly surprised at this revelation, Adrian asked, “You know who I am?” “I’ll recognize you no matter what you become.” Sarah walked over and stopped right in front of Adrian. She had accepted the university’s invitation to put on a performance, which had just ended. After that, she searched high and low for Adrian and was happy when she finally located him.
