Nothing happened at first, but as Serena was about to put the book down a bright blue light appeared around Adrian, he shone around him for a few minutes and then vanished. Serena looked down at Adrian, and all his wounds, both poisoned and normal from the attack, were healed; a smile spread across her face as Adrian's pained expression relaxed; he was going to be fine. Serena thought as she took her seat beside him, sighing in relief, Serena picked up the Spell book and began going through the Spell book, she found different spells for so many different things, she even found a spell for making new clothes out of scraps so she didn't have to go back to the castle to get clothes for Adrian,

Caitlin nearly lunged across the room, grabbing the book and holding it up to the candlelight with shaking hands. Please God, let this be it, she thought. She pulled back the cover and nervously flipped to the title page: De Fascino Libri Tres. Her heart flooded with relief. She could hardly believe it. She had actually found it. Caitlin quickly thumbed through the pages, going as fast as she could to the missing page. Please, please be there. Please be the matching page. She started to worry about what she would do if the matching page weren’t there. Or if this was all a hoax. She was shaking with anticipation as she got closer. 530, 532….

“The people hunting you.” My exhaustion disappeared. “What did you find?” Adrian closed the door behind him and walked toward my desk. “I went through the old Mooncrest archives.” “Without permission?” “Yes.” I almost smiled. “I'm starting to think you enjoy breaking rules.” “Only when the rules are hiding something important.” He pulled an old book from beneath his jacket. It was thick and worn, with a dark leather cover covered in faded symbols. He placed it on the desk. I moved closer. “What is that?”

Crystal I struggled with my suitcases as I tried to catch up with Draven, who was already heading toward the car. He had only one bag to carry—no wonder he was able to walk so briskly. Several of them had fallen open to random pages, and as he collected them, one caught his eye. He picked it up. The title on the open page read: On The Nature of Probability Manipulation in Pre-Civilization Eryndor. Kael read the first paragraph.

Raven couldn't help but wonder what other surprises lay in store for her in this mysterious encounter with Adaora. As she reached out to grab the book, her heart skipped a beat. It was the one she had been searching for, The Night Watcher and The Vampire. She breathed a sigh of relief as she flipped open the book, eager to delve into its contents and find the answers she was looking for. The previous night, she had only briefly glimpsed at the title, without taking the time to look at the book's content. As Raven perused the pages, she couldn't help but notice that the vast collection of books that surrounded her were paranormal books.

--- POV: Araya The altar thrashed, roots whipping like snakes. One lunged for me, black with Erik’s venom. Hollowflame met it clean, turning it to cinder mid-strike. Another coiled Kade’s neck. My fire cut it down, leaving him gasping but alive. The priest shrieked as runes failed. His book writhed, words wriggling like worms, then burst into ash. Shadows rejected him. Adira swayed, pale, crown tilting. Her gaze locked on me—not recognition, but dread.

She tried to free herself but she was really stuck this time. “Sara?”Sara tried to pull her leg but it was still stuck. “I can’t go back,” she cried tugging with all her might. She screamed as her leg suddenly became free and then she was falling forward.‘Is this the end?’ she wondered as her body fell forward slowly.“I got you.” Adrain was suddenly pulling her up.“Let me go!” she didn’t want to end up in his house again. “Let me go Adrain, I don’t need you to save me.” She struggled against him and gasped when she lost her balance.
