" Joe asked from behind her. "It's a birthmark borne by children who were touched by a goddess from another realm," She said casually. "Wait, what?" Kurt asked in disbelief. "Yeah, I read about it in a book," She said. "What book?" Joe asked. Lydia stopped walking and took off her backpack. She opened it and took out a large book and handed it to Joe. "This book..." She said. The book was large and on the cover, it had the word "TROLEYADIA" on it in large font.

There were piles of books on her table, and there was a request for more books that she had drafted out. “My lady, let us leave.” Liora begged, following behind me impatiently. I checked through some of her books, and they were mostly fiction. My eyes caught a particular book under a pile of books, and I reached for it instantly. “My lady, you're going to get me killed.” Liora groaned as I picked up the book. “THE ADVENTURES OF LADY KILMARTIN.” I read out loud. “Huh?” Liora mumbled.

Just the soft rustle of pages and the comforting scent of old books. Only in stories, he thought, could he travel across oceans, through time, into the hearts of strangers without moving an inch, without lifting a finger. It was within ink and parchment that he found the most vivid adventures. Adventures that never asked him to sacrifice his stillness in exchange for wonder. And so, with his limbs weary but his mind slowly awakening, Arnav reached for a book. The kind of book that didn’t just pass the time, but gently stitched a man back together.

"Word of advice? The good stuff isn't kept with the dusty old books." Before I could ask what she meant, she was gone. Disappeared into the shadows like she'd never been there at all. Who the hell was that? I shook my head and went back to searching. I didn't have time for mysterious women with probably glowing tattoos. Hours passed. My eyes burned from reading by candlelight, but I kept going. Most of the books were about pack laws and territory disputes. Nothing helpful. But then my fingers found something different. A thin book wedged between two larger ones.

I can feel a shiver run down my spine as I gulp. Something is weird about the atmosphere... how come everyone suddenly disappears? I slowly swallow the candy that was sitting in my mouth. It was a soft candy, so it didn't hurt my throat. Clenching the handle of my bag tightly, I try to walk as normally as I could master. *Bathump! Bathump!* Calm down... there must be a reasonable explanation why this happened, right? A shadow shape of a person appeared behind me. The more I try to walk faster, the more it follows me. Turning around to the different alleyway, I tried to lose the shadow. Since I wasn't paying attention to where I'm heading, I ended up walking to a dead end.

The shuffle of hangers, the low hum of a dusty radio playing soft rock in the background, the occasional exclamation from a customer who’s found a hidden gem. In the back corner, I discover a wooden crate filled with books. My fingers hover over the spines, titles half faded, pages worn. I crouch down and start flipping through them, the paper whispering under my touch. Valerie appears beside me a moment later with a woven basket in one hand and a sequined scarf slung dramatically around her neck. “Any treasure?” she asks, crouching beside me. “Not sure yet,” I murmur, pulling out a leather bound book with a cracked spine. I said and she shrugged "So, tell me mom. Let's talk about this now. What is it about Adrian touching that book which makes you so scared?" I said and she looked at me for some time and sat saying "Elsa. This book contain somethings Adrian doesn't need to know if he opens it. It will make him uncontrollable and you'll lose him. Yes, it's a sacred book and it should help him. But they are still some mysteries. If he finds out now. It will only bring more tention between the natural and the supernatural...and hence, the natural will be destroyed in the process...and that's only going to be a disaster that will never end. Well that's! While I'm sure they'll have more adventures, it's offcially a wrap for everyone's favorite Bonnie and Clyde couple! Hope you loved the crazy, crime-filled story of Jovie and Reno!
