I said to Rosalyn before I did something I would regret. Leo’s house was more silent than I expected. Rosalyn made me hush before she led me upstairs into the nursery. Leo lay on a large bed in a crib with the three children sleeping around him. The second we crossed into the room, Lenora woke up, her eyes fixing on us. She let out a loud cry, a ball of fire soaring right for my head. Leo jumped out of the bed towards the door, his claws extended. When he saw that it was just us, he let out a sigh of relief.

Again,” he mutters, maintaining the annoyed look on his cute little face. “They had fun,” Sofia informs, joining us outside. “Thank you,” I smile. “And by the way, you look terrible.” I look at the blue short-sleeved gown I have on and can't help but agree with her. It has some stains here and there making it look even worse than it originally was.
