“I—I don’t know. I closed my eyes. I thought it was going to hurt him.” She pouted.
Casey patted her twin’s shoulder gently, a fierce expression lighting up her eyes. They held the same rich tones of the earth as Aidan’s, along with the fire that fueled him.
“I didn’t cover my eyes.” Casey said, a hint of pride in her voice. “It was black, but not like normal black…” She paused, tapping a finger against her chin. “…like the sky at night, dark and sparkly looking.”
