Akira’s POV As I stood there, still stunned by the sight of Hunter and Kestrel locked in that kiss, it crashed me, leaving my chest tight with sadness. Kestrel hadn’t even completely left the room when Hunter turned on me, his eyes hard and unyielding, refusing to meet mine. His voice was cold and distant, like he’d erected an invisible wall between us. “What do you want, Akira?” he snapped, the impatience in his tone cutting through me like a knife.

AMEIRA is on her way to the convenience store where she works. Everything you need for your home is already there, such as food, materials, and paint. Her hands were in her pockets as she headed to work. She wore a long black cloak, which she used to wear so that she would not be recognized. Maybe she didn't want anyone to recognize her identity because her beauty undeniably grabs attention, she doesn't know why.

Akira must have delayed her on purpose ,she must have an evil agenda in which she wants to hatch on me . I simply have no idea what I did to her to deserve such cruel treatment ,I used to love and cherish her like never before ,I never did anything wrong to her but yet she treated me in such a painful manner ,she hurt me times without number ,I regret ever knowing her or even introducing her to Asim in the first place . My hopes are now on Asim to finally heal the heart of the poor maiden in which my stupidity almost ruined ,tears rolled down as I reminisce over what I did to an innocent girl ,I cried helplessly but then something strange happened to me .

I always get what I want. Akira will realize that I am the better option and she will come crawling back to me

Akira was almost ready when she heard the doorbell ring and ran to get the door . She was wearing a beautiful peach colored line dress which was accentuating her features . She wore matching sneakers to complement her look . She had her hair in loose curls and was looking nothing less than a pretty peach . When she opened the door, she found Vikram holding a bouquet of baby's breath which was Akira's favorite thing in the world . He was dressed in casuals but still looked like a fashion model who has jumped straight out of a catalog .

I raised my brows and smirked. "Of course, let Conrad and Connor accompany you." "That sounds great!" I exclaimed excitedly and snatched the map from his hand. "Bye! Wait for the magic water, I'll be back very soon!" "Wait!" I heard Hunter tried to stop me. However, I did not wait for his response and immediately teleported into the portal in the middle of the forest. "You're so impossible, Akira." Hunter shook his head and sigh deeply. He did not bother to go after her, anyway, Akira is a guardian of lights. She can perfectly take care of herself in times of trouble.

She covered her face out of embarrassment. Rayner moved towards her and removed her hands from her face. " Look at me Kira....." he urged her. Akira raised her head slowly and looked at him like he requested. Rayner smiled to her. " Kira listen very well, I don't like you to be weak. I don't want people to think that you are a pushover.....

Akira asked, and without waiting for his response, she continued, "What if Xenra doesn't pay attention to you when you get attacked? You would end up hurting yourself!" She stated, her voice heavy with frustration. "Have you also considered that you might end up hurting those around you? You want the other clans and everyone to know about your secret?" She asked, her strained voice tumbling out in a rush. "I'm sorry to say, but you know you behave like a wild beast when the season comes upon you." Akira's voice came again.

Akira and Kirian walked towards us. Akira is wearing a navy-blue training jacket and black cap. He looks like an athlete while Kirian is wearing a baby pink sweater. It was the one I gave to Yuan as a birthday present last year which he never wears. He hates pink and I purposely bought it online to annoy him. Seeing now that Kir is wearing it makes me smile. “I’ll be going now,” Akira announced, Luna, being the welcoming one that she is, pulled him into a hug. Akira must’ve been taken aback because his face suddenly turned tomato red. I laughed at his awkward reaction.
